DoorDash and Coles are teaming up on a flower giveaway, which means that you can get them delivered to your mother's door, too. There's 5000 up for grabs and, while it isn't all about bouquets, they're among the range on offer.

If your mum would love nothing more than a surprise bunch of petals, order away. If she'd prefer a single rose, or potted daffodils or hyacinths, they're available as well. And, you don't have to spend any cash getting anything else from Coles; however, there are delivery and service fees.

Obviously, you need to order via DoorDash, with the freebies available across Saturday, May 13–Sunday, May 14 to the first 5000 orders. You also need to use the code MOTHERSDAY to redeem the free flowers, and you can't pick anything over $30.

  • I managed to get a hyacinth pot, didn't think to add extra items at Coles to make up the $30… thought it was only for the flowers. Added a Double Dash and paid just over $10 in delivery and service fees. Thanks to OP and this thread as I tried earlier with no luck.

    • I added something from Coles and it wasn't discounted. Only the flowers ($27)

  • What do you do if the item is unavailable ? Do you choose a cheaper flower ? Will the code be void and they end up charging full price ?

    • You can click view details and then view the substitution options and select

      • If we choose a more expensive substitute does the promo code become void ?

        • Hmmm good question because I chose the more expensive substitute too 😂
I'm not sure with that one…

          • @xtngo: I think you can check your receipt, it will tell you

            • @sarah965: Mine didn't need to be substituted though it was a "in case it's sold out"

        • Mine got subbed for $35 ones and just paid extra $8 (original bunch was $27)

          • @Bensch: Same here - got charged extra for the more expensive sub

    Worked for me in Windsor.

But they delivered Lillies not Tulips… my wife loves Tulips… now she thinks I don’t know her!

I have a good rating for fast delivery but a poor rating for the order. They pushed me through the feedback process.

I said I realise it was a promotion so I’m not complaining just giving feedback.

But they credited the $25 to my account and another $5 for the inconvenience.

So I spent $5.20, for a bunch of lilles and $30 credit in my account. Not bad. Thanks OP.

    • Wait, do they charge you if they get a substitute to your original order?

      • First complaint they might look after you but if your a Serial Whinger ( my field of experience ) you won't get anything.

Finally managed to get it via Coles. Added an item to make up $30 for free delivery. 7-ELEVEN has 6pk original krispy kreme for $5.95

I added Ferrero Rochers from Coles for $3.75

  • Just placed the order from WA. Thanks for the post.

  • Got my tulips! Cheers OP!

  • Just a heads up DoorDash are dodgy as. I made an order of flowers and chocolate and items including substitutes not available. I cancel order and they decide to refund half of what I paid as credit form. I went on chat to query and ask for refund of full amount I paid back into original payment method and they said they put it in credit form without me knowing and can’t change credit to refund. And they ended chat on their end. I’m still trying to get a hold of someone else, so I’ll have to wait and see.

This is great. I don't live near mum and just sent her flowers for under $15 total!

I hope I haven't spoken too soon, awaiting delivery.

    • Took ages to be delivered, but I received the $27 bunch!

  • What do the tulips look like? Are they good quality compared to a proper florist?

  • Is this still working for people? Saying that the deal isn’t available now.. did it run out?

  • Yeah deal is over

  • Sold out now

Wow thanks OP, I think I managed to get it in before it went OOS

Wow! Your bunch is soooo much nicer and fresher than mine. I ended up contacting DoorDash and they gave me a full refund.

      • Yeh I had low expectations given they were free (minus the fees/delivery) but was surprised how nice they were when they showed up :)

  • Thanks OP. Got the flowers within 30mins

  • Thanks for posting. Great deal but unfortunately got screwed with a higher valued substitute as the voucher only applied $27 (my original item of choice), not the full $30 (substitute item was $35). I would have thought that generally substitutes are not charged an additional amount similar to woolies/coles direct

    • +1

You got screwed by getting a $35 bunch of flowers for $8 + deliver & service charge?

      • Yes because the promo was for $30 and they didn't apply that discount plus I don't expect to pay for the difference for a substitute

  • Isn’t this deal supposed to be available tomorrow too?

    • 5000 Claims Available

      • I wonder if they kept half for tomorrow or just numerical 5000 - probably the latter

  • Miss out again

  • Thanks, OP! Got the $27 bunch delivered to a very happy mother at 10am this morning for an exorbitant amount, $4.00 🤣😂
