Have you tried the Steeldive SD1970? 😅

On a more serious note, if you need to spend another like $10 to get into the next discount bracket, can I also offer the SKMEI 1628? 😅

Haha nice choice, both those are pretty much the best value watches in their price brackets.

I saw someone comment on youtube that Steeldive do Seiko better than Seiko.

        Steeldive SD1970, US$75.62 + GST = $6 coupons.

omg i am tempted to get the black on black waffle strap!!!!

For those thinking about sd1970 and still on the fence, DO IT!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET!

The only watches I wear now are both.. 🤣 Steeldiving when I leave the house.

I feel like Seiko should just buy out Steeldive. But then it'd seem rediculous to slap their logo on the watch and expect people to pay atleast like what, $500 for sapphire alone, then I'm not sure if Seiko has ceramic bezels or at what price point they'd start at.. 😅

          • @WasBargain: The real chad move is to go for the no logo version 👏

            • +1

@Jimothy Wongingtons: That's what I did. How embarrasing to have a no-name Chinese logo'd watch. 🤣 Kiddings aside, if Seiko ever did buy out Steeldive, I'd probably have lost some fat profit for not having a logo'd pre-Seiko Steeldive.. 🤣

I am totally new to watches. Would you recommend starting with the SD1970 you suggested?

          • +3

@catbarf: Sure but be warned, after you get it any other watch purchase other than skmei1628 will be very hard to justify.
