I've been looking for cheap low power USB-PD chargers for some home automation projects and saw this on the Ikea website so I picked one up today. Is it the cheapest USB cable ever? No. Is it the highest wattage cable? No. But the build quality is quite good, and being able to pick up locally/easy warranty is quite appealing. I've bought loads of $1 Aliexpress cables and they're usually junk. I haven't tested this to its limits but I'm quite satisfied for the price and don't have any reason to believe it would fail. Always handy to have one or two cables stashed away. Note it's not a high speed cable so I'm only using these for charging
There's also a 1m USB C-C for $4.50 - https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/sittbrunn-usb-c-to-usb-c-blue-8…
Big Clive on YouTube has done some teardowns of the IKEA USB adapters and other electronics and they usually get a good review
For the people that means it caps at 60W, most of my stuff caps at 65w I guess. Will it still be able to pull the 65w?
