Decent price. Most but not all sizes at this price. Just tried price matching at anaconda but they don't match Amazon unfortunately. Remember to get a size up. US 12 fits perfectly for me and I'm normally a US11

They aren't narrow. My feet are wide'ish and they fit very well
Awesome, thanks mate
Get the wide fit Merrell's if that is what you need. I have the Merrell Moab Vent 2s which have wide fit available on Amazon. They are the best hiking shoes I own.
Same price and similar product, not sure which one is better. How water proof of are these products?

Edit, ebay is $145.97 for me with $10 discount.
Seem like a different leather i.e. the pics on Amazon seem to be more a brushed leather, whereas the Wildearth seem to smoother shinier leather, any ideas? I prefer the brushed leather look.
They are quite waterproof…however the gusset for the tongue is really low, so they are only effective waterproof to 5-6cm (if you see the metal eyelets down to the first non-metal eyelet, that is basically where the gusset is, above that water can get in).
I really liked how comfy my adventures were, but had issues with the edge tread wearing out very quickly and water getting in so easily that I completely stopped using them.
You may as well just get a non-waterproof more breathable shoe, if I'm wearing waterproof shoes it is likely Autumn/Winter and cold and snow are far more dangerous than wet feet.
Dumb question probably but would this be worth me getting as a beginner/for basic bush walks, or would they be overkill?
They may be a bit warm due to the sealed leather upper, otherwise Merrell make good shoes that will last you a long time.
If you are hiking in summer/spring just get the normal Moab 3, if its autumn/winter/wet areas, consider these or the Moab 3 GTX.
$100-200 for shoes is pretty good, and Merrell are great for a few light seasons before wear-and-tear takes them out.
For me these have survived about 1 year of heavy hiking.
Thank you. Ordered my first pair of hiking footwear 👍
Once again there are no large/big sizes for blokes like me who need Aus size 12-14 and trying to negotiate Amazon(and others) idea of shoe size via the UK/US/EU size charts is fraught with sorrow and the inevitable return process.
*Merrill have been a great shoe and hiking trips to the EU and UK have proved the value of them but it has to be said that if you wont to be sure then you need to go to a store and try the shoes on.
Yuk
So what do you like, pink flowers & bright fluorescent colours :-)
Showing up as $169.99 for me? Guess it's expired
Anybody know if these run narrow or suitable for wider feet?
