DeWalt TSTAK 3 in 1 Mobile Tool Storage System $148 (Was $220) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Bunnings

150

Good for people with Dewalt stuff
Normally $200-220 at Bunnings / Total Tools etc.

Good price for a reasonable mobile storage system.

Bunnings has just dropped their price to beat Sydneytools (which I posted earlier but was unpublished as you can only order 3 for delivery. But they have plenty available for click and collect). It is $149 there:
https://sydneytools.com.au/product/dewalt-dwst835171-3in1-ts…

If you go for Sydney Tools, you can stack with this:
Spend $500 on Dewalt storage at Sydney Tools and get https://sydneytools.com.au/product/dewalt-dwst833471-20-tsta… for free (DeWalt DWST83347-1 2.0 TSTAK Mobile Toolbox Organiser System)
https://sydneytools.com.au/category/dewalt-storage-offer

Also this for $49 (not part of the $500 storage offer)

There is also a Sydney Tools Bonus Point offer on today only, but it sounds like it only applies to full priced items / without bonus etc

  • sorry, this may be out of this deal related question. i am looking to get line trimmer. anyone come across any good deal? am also searching.

  • I was about to pull the trigger on this at $220, definitely not $220 of value. The plastic structure is okay, but the connectors are so hard to clip on.

I tested at 3 different stores and all the same, the connector quality is the worst of all the brands.

Go for the tough system line for a suitable connector.

This may be worth it at $100/$120, probably could justify it for $148 and not feel too bad.

    • The clips are fine but the way the lids close on them are often misaligned, they are a pain, I have 8 of them, two sets with the trolley plus two additional units.

      • At what price would you recommend a purchase on these?

  • Why don't we see product thumbnail anymore with bunnings?

    • The generic thumbnail is what Bunnings' server provides to our server. The product thumbnails are manually added by moderators.

This is not a 'tool kit'. It contains no tools. You should change the title to reflect what the product actually is—particularly given that you have not provided a pic to go with the post.

    • Click on the link. Takes you to the Bunnings product page (with pics).
Bunnings calls it a tool box, so the OP was just using the same title. Take it up with Dewalt or Bunnings I guess.

        Yo Stucky, re:

'Bunnings calls it a tool box …'

Yes, but the OP has called it a 'tool kit; and provided no pic that would enable users to note that it is in fact not a tool kit, without opening the post and clicking links etc.i.e. wasting time due to a faulty title.

      • Thanks. Yes I copied and pasted

Fair call. I've fixed the title

Bunnings drop their prices (sometimes significantly) everytime a comparable product becomes available for less elsewhere (usually Aldi).

It happens so much they should rebrand their slogan to "Lowest Prices Are Just the Beginning… Unless We Can Gouge Customers for More and Then We Totally Will" 😁

But kinda not funny. Just goes to sow how much mark up they can get away with when there is no direct competitor 😒

Bunnings was a whole lot cheaper when Masters was around …

  • Waiting for the 3 piece of the AEG to go on sale or a decent discount on the quickstack bits because I liked the $39 quickstack organiser soo much..

    • +1

same here, bought 2 quickstack organiser. feel good.
My mate went to buy 7 for his DIY tools. LOL

      • Damnnn, I tried to get a second locally, they said most likely it's in a pallet out back because none on floor. I might head down tomorrow to check again.

  • Dewalt have to start releasing the foam inserts for particular power tools to fit in. The purpose of these are to store your tools safely but without the foam padding, tools bounce around. I'm in the Dewalt eco in both 18v and 54v with iver 30 different tools, 42 in total. Have stacks of these boxes connected holding all my power tools. Some have specific contour plastic mouldings but would much rather the foam insert like with the multi tool t-stak pack.

  • My local Bunnings had the much better TStak 2 DeWalt DWST83402-1 ($348 at sydney tools) marked at this price. I couldn't get it to the counter fast enough. When I went back for another they had realized the price error…
