DON'T PURCHASE AS IT'S CHARGING $10. GET IN TOUCH WITH AMAYSIM TO GET REFUNDED IF YOU ALREADY DID.

This is an in-app option. Click on ready to purchase SIM card /4g plans and choose the last option, which is pay as you go. Then click through and it should offer free esim. The pay as you go gives you 365 days free service. You can choose a new number or transfer existing.

This means you can potentially have a free spare number. All you need to do is -at the end of the 365 days- to move out of amaysim with a cheap/free plan (such as the Boost plan) and then move back in. This way you’ll avoid $10 to extend the 365 days.

    I have a apple se phone how can I tell if it has esim?
    And what can I do with this?
    I am currently with boost pre paid and I do have a Apple Watch I not used yet which has cellular will this be handy for that?

    I take this will not be useful for a trip overseas later in the year?

      Not sure if it offers roaming. It can useful if you want to get more offers. Download amaysim app and it will tell if it's compatible.

      I don't know about Apple Watches, sorry, but with Samsung Galaxy watches there's a hidden menu via the phone app that allows you to add a separate & cheap pay as you go eSim directly to the watch avoiding having to buy an expensive postpaid plan from Telstra/Optus. e.g The cost is $15 per year ($5setup+$10 top up for PAYG) if you are a very low user.

      The downside is your watch has a different phone number to your phone. You can set up a redirect between the 2 if you wanted I suppose

      No idea what's possible in the apple world. They always spoil the fun!

      They used to offer PAYG postpaid, which is permanently free, other than usage charges, but they no longer offer it. I still have one on a regular SIM.

    Note that amaysim doesn't provide you with a QR code.
    I tried to move from physical sim to esim last year and I ended up 48h without service on my main number, and reverted to a physical esim.
    Would not recommend

    Anyone else tried, last page shows pay $0.00 now but as soon as you go through it, instantly deducts $10 from paypal.

      I just tried to place order, but I have old credit card so it didn't process the order. Get in touch with amaysim. I will ask to expire this deal for now.

    I had a credit card with $1 balance so they went through

    Got 4 nice numbers that qualify as Gold for free

        It's been a while, but I had to pay $10 to setup PAYG, and pay $10 each year to keep the number in service.
        You don't lose any unused value, it rolls over.

      While it’s available get boost with cash rewards. Free or even profit but you need one every 4 weeks .
