You can also mix and match to get different flavour Baileys
Also a great way to spice up your Cornflakes.
Yes the kids love it!
You say that likely in jest and yet someone has almost certainly tried this.

You can change your store location to a store that has stock.
Dammm…. bought 4…. I'm drunk now
Make your own.
Cheaper and better.
How
Effort.
Here's a Thermomix recipe:
https://thermobliss.com/thermomix-baileys/
If you don't have a Thermomix, any blender will do, but watch out for curdling.
I use the cheapest whiskey I can find, usually from Aldi.
It tastes really good and has quite a kick.
To find out if it's actually cheaper, you'd need to compare the price of all the ingredients for the recipe.
1 cup cream
395 g sweetened condensed milk
1 ⅔ cup Irish whiskey
3 tbs chocolate topping or syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon instant coffee granulesA single 700ml bottle of Jamesons will set you back $50 at Dan Murphy's. So is it really cheaper to make your own?
Better is subjective. I'm happy to do a blind taste test and can confirm if you're interested. Will probably need several samples…
would rather go buy Baileys than waste money on experimenting just to get it close to Baileys
No need to use Jameson - just use the cheapest whiskey you can find. Aldi's cheapest is $35 and you can get a 700ml bottle at First Choice or Liquorland for $28-30 when there's a 20% Cashrewards offer on. The other ingredients are cheap apart from Vanilla extract - and you only need a little bit of that. I use less whiskey than shown above - 3 lots out of a 700ml bottle - and it's plenty strong enough. Everyone who tries it loves it and I prefer it to Bailey's. I also use it to make ice cream too.
This works for me as I like to make stuff from scratch - and this is real easy to make. But party on with whatever you want to do.
too sweet for my taste
can dilute it with milk
Prefer Dan's current deal (members, which is free):
Finnlaighs Country Cream 700mL
2 for $20.
Does it taste similar?
I'd say pretty close. I tried the other one Dan's has and it was too nutty. This one is quite smooth. Worst case, buy the 2 and give away the other for a b'day or such.
Thanks, I'll give it a run
I reckon it's the closest to Bailey's out of all the Irish creams available, and at a great price. I love it.
Keep in mind it is wine based, not whiskey based like baileys.
Cheers, got that deal instead!
This is one of these WET (Wine equalisation tax) specials as Baileys uses whiskey, which is subject to the excise on spirits which much more.
This is why I love OzBargain, you click on a deal you thought was pretty good, then in the comments you find and even better deal! Love it :) Thanks for the great tip Geekomatic.
Wait until you taste it.
or.. only includes VIC, NSW, ACT..and parts of WA..
I'm still reeling from the four bottles I snatched up last sale, I think I'll sit this one out.
I normally buy the aldi knock off, $15 a bottle. Tastes pretty good to me and comes in salted caramel if that's your thing!
Liquorland also $32 a bottle or 2 for $61. Stock is much easier to find.
https://www.liquorland.com.au/spirits/baileys-irish-cream-li…Myself and family in another household ordered this and we got cancelled.
Bastards.
Anyone else?
“Another household”… it’s OK to spill the beans here — we’re all friends
A great mother's day pressie.
1 for her, 1 for me 😂
I can get drunk for twice the time, love ya Scrooge!
