Personally, I think they look a lot better too.

Haven't seen Woodworm umbrella deals for years it seems.

  • +6

They're back!! Good brolleys, still use mine although they are starting to fall apart now

    • I guess its time to replace them

    • How long have you had them for?

  • +12

Wow, this is a time warp.

I purchased a 3 pack 7.5 years ago and they're still in use.

    • +8

Mine are still waiting to be used

      • +3

        True ozbargainer spotted.

    • That's why I couldn't find an umbrella in the bus for 7.5 years.

    • Same, though not in the best shape. Can't believe I missed this deal.

  • Are these better/same/worse than a Bunnings umbrella which sell for $12 each?

    • +2

Better imo but bunnings may be more worth it unless you really need 3!

      • +3

Man went to a conference the other day. There was like 50 bunnings 🏖️ it's a pita knowing which one is yours.

      • You need multiples for family anyway. Why not these if they are better quality than Bunnings.

    • +1

      Don't Bunnings have free umbrellas?

      • Not free, last time I checked they were 7$ in Syd

    • +13

At least with these you don’t have to advertise Bunnings every time it rains.

      • Is advertising Woodworm better? 🤔

        • +3

I’d rather advertise a smallish umbrella company than a multi-million dollar hardware chain.

    • +2

No shame advertising bunnings? Probably have a straw hat as well…

    • Playing golf with a Bunnings umbrella? No way….

      • +2

        Using clubs is better

    • +1

I use the Bunnings ones and keep receipt …no problems with replacements if issues at the service desk ……

  • +11

Glad to see these…I need some more!!

But $36? I'm sure I paid $21 for 3, back in the day.

I guess that's inflation for you.

    • Yes I recall they were about $20, but I think there were deals for under $10..

    • +2

      Wasn’t it 9.95 for 3?

      • Can see the price history of Woodworm deals here.

        First Woodworm post since 2016.

        • +1

3 for 9.95 + shipping (4.95 for syd). That was years ago, I have no idea where mine went.

          • @ATangk: Yeah I got this deal too. I gave one to my friend, who lost it. I lost another one. The black & white one finally died a couple of months ago.

    • $21 back in the days probably worth $36 by now. It's economics 101

  • +7

Great umbrellas. Sturdy. $19 deliver to WA this time though

    • That takes the shine off it for myself as well :(

    • +1

      WAAAAAA

    • +1

Yep, makes me skip this deal. I've got prime too so it's disappointing.

    • +1

Yeh not sure why $19 delivery for prime to wa

    • +1

$26.12 delivery for North Qld with Prime.

      • Definitely worthy of a neg on the deal

  • +1

Wow, lost 2, still have 1 from ages ago. Bought the set now. Solid umbrellas.

  • +1

Thanks OP. My 10+ year old Nike Golf umbrella has had a good run, but needs to retire.

  • +4

Im being quoted $19.08 delivery to WA

    • +1

      Yeah me too 😔

  • +1

    these lasts forever!

    • +3

or until they are lost/stolen like mine from 8 years ago…. quick search, i paid $14.90 for a 3 pack, delivered from Deals Direct on 20/4/2015

      • I got these from the exact same deal lol

    • They last even longer if you keep them dry.

  • Anyone in Melbourne want to go thirds??

    • +4

      87% username doesn't check out

    • Yes

    • Could be interested

  • -1

You get what you pay for with these. Fine for a while but they all will break sooner rather than later.

    • +2

Mine still going from when it was posted years ago.

Got a verpeak. That too is still going.

  • Thanks op , bought 1 pack, but shipping saying 10th-15th…

  • +1

Mine have all busted over the years. Decent quality but maybe Melbourne winds or me not drying them properly made things worse. I've been sticking to Blunt and never looked back.

Feeling nostalgic as these were my first Ozbargain buy, in 2012. $24.95 delivered

  • Bought 3 many years ago, still have 1 left. 2 destroyed by frickin storm in the middle of CBD!

  • +1

    I'm getting $19 delivery to Perth…

  • +3

So many upvotes… Guess I should buy this then

    • +2

      That you should.

    • +1

      This is the way.

  • +2

Paid $14.90 for 3 from Deals Direct back in 2015.

Speaking of which, haven't seen a deal from Deals Direct for ages (along with topbuy and oo.com.au).

  • +2

The velcro on them older woodworm brollies are so bad though

    • Yep mine's just a furry mess nowadays

  • $11 delivery for me (QLD)

  • Woodworm umbrellas. My favourite application after anticipation of precipitation

  • +1

Don't forget to say hi to your fellow ozbargainer if you meet any heavy rain…haha.

    • these are big enough to share space under
      cue romantic music

  • Damn, $11.12 delivery to regional NSW :(

  • How do the rubber(?) handles of these hold up over time. I’m sick of the brollys I used having the rubber go sticky after a while. Or are these a hard foam type of handle?

    • no stickiness on my umbrellas to date

  • +1

Bought after reading comments here. Who says reading is a good habit?

    • +1

these are damn good umbrellas for the price. Mine have lasted me years now, and are so big compared to "normal" umbrellas. You won't regret the purchase

      • Thanks, always appreciated fellow ozb honest review

  • Can anyone explain why I can't get this item to show up in my Amazon app when searching for Woodworm Golf Umbrella after logging into it via Shopback, but it appears on the direct link?

I could only find it after clicking on the $59.95 but free shipping listing, then clicking on the Golf Division Store and going to their store front.

    $19.08 shipping for Perth WA.

Ended up being slightly cheaper to go for the $59.95 listing with free shipping at 10 per cent off.

    • Had the same issue

  • +1

Checking into the 'bought because ozbargin told me to' bandwagon

  • Honestly would buy them but what's with the woodworm branding?

  • What a blast from the past. I remember I left one (first time use) when I went to watch a game at Suncorp. I was filthy! I'm down to my last and it's on its last legs.

  • Price back to normal $59.95 before 10% discount

  • -5

$19 postage. What a rip off.

    • get yourself on Prime. Easy decision tbh. Access to Prime video and music too.

      • I’ve got prime and this isn’t covered by it. Seems to be a similar thing in the comments above with anyone in Perth.

        • +4

You in Perth, you don't need a Umbrella.

          • +1

@boomramada: We need them for the tears of people leaving our glorious beaches and sunshine.
*I’m a Victorian, married into the state. No regrets…. So far.

  • Any recommendations for the 3 Fold Umbrella?

  • +1

    What’s the coupon code?

    • +4

Don't tell me i missed it! its 5am!

  • It shows $59.95 ?

    • Yep same for me. Promo is finished?

  • Reminiscing the good times…

  • My 3 set has finally been retired hurt - need another set. Handle feel off the last one.

  • OOS I would have bought another

  • One of the best ozb deal, paid ~$20, these badass still stay strong over years of usage. I lost 2, now thinking does $20 ever come back haha
