Picked up this set from HN, noticed it was around $40 more expensive at Peter's of Kensington. There are other dinner sets around, such as the stanley Rogers sets at Harris Scarfe but the quality is not very good and has imperfections, Strachan is a much better brand and quality.
A cursory search doesn't turn up anyone selling this set for less. Right now, Peter's seems to be the next best at $10 more, plus $25 shipping to Perth (only $11 to east coast).
"rule number number one"? "your never saving money", my never saving money what?
Also, HN can do some pretty decent specials, as they can afford to sell cheap occasionally due to the high prices on everything else. Rule #1 at HN should be "don't ever pay full sticker price". #2 is "never buy HDMI cables from them, no matter how discounted".
