I've got 2x Meross IR controllers that both unexpectedly decided to stop turning on (at the same time?), so im looking for a replacement.
Just thought id check if anyone has any experiences with these cheap Tuya Smart controllers that are on ebay?

The blurb claims it can do IR, RF and Bluetooth, which i find hard to believe. Assuming the bluetooth is a mistake, the RF controller has caught my attention - most notably because my understanding is I could then automate the motor on my front gate, as it's mimicking a clicker… The other RF appliance in my house is a motorised projector screen and it would be neat to automate this.
If, by some small chance, the bluetooth is not a mistake, would anyone know if Tuya could easily control an Amazon Fire Stick?
Part of me suspects the cheap price is too good to be true and i should just get Broadlink controllers from Amazon, but it's a leap in price, and we all love a bargain..
So, any advice most welcomed. thank you.
Just get a Broadlink controller, it just works.
