Hi,

Could someone provide a way to get a cost-effective Galaxy Smart Tag in AU?

I checked Amazon Global Store (for free shipping), unfortunately, they don't sell it.

I checked amazon.com (US) site, delivery is ridiculously high (+/- AU$15)

I checked the posts provided on ozb, unfortunately, all offers no longer valid.

The one I found so far:
- MobileZap (AU$46.49/each OR AU$42.75/each for 4-pack) + $6.99 delivery

I bought mine off Amazon AU (via US) last year, but just checked and none of the listings are still active.

FWIW I paid about $40 a pop, so the MobileZap deal you have found seems fine (especially since there doesn't seem to be too many others selling them in Aus).

I suspect they might have been banned/restricted in Australia due to mandatory standards for Button and coin batteries.

It is getting harder and harder to find them anywhere in the world. I did read something (in a tech reviewers article) that said a new Galaxy tag will be launched this year which may explain this but they had no information on what the newer item would bring to improve things (speculation to things like battery life and recharging). Trying to find some myself at the moment.
