Fortis Qicycle Xiaomi C2 - How to Remove Battery

How are you supposed to the remove the battery? Given the instructions aren't exactly clear is it:
1. remove the base 4 screws using phillips screwdriver
2. remove wheel guard/shield
3. remove back wheel
4. slide battery out?

    Not an expert and with no videos or step by step instructions located online, looking foor goodwill advice from the ozbargain community, otherwise do I go to a public library to try and find out?
