  Ending is pretty frustrating with the difficulty but otherwise it's a comparatively short Zelda game. I enjoyed the genre change

  Yep, just finished it myself. Pretty good, although as I'm terrible with rhythm, gave me an option to turn it off. Ended up making it play a bit like a puzzle game.

Interesting gameplay, but worth it if you're a fan of Zelda games. Great music too.

I didn't enjoy this game anywhere near as much as I expected to

For full disclosure I hadn't played the original Crypt of the Necrodancer, but the Zelda skin seemed to reduce my enjoyment if anything?
I was used to keeping items and story progression etc but ended up with items disappearing and little in the way of feeling I had made progress
