    • This is the Pro 2 2900 the one you linked is the 1500.

      • Only difference I can see is different brush heads.

I can't seem to find the specs for the rotation per minute, which I think is the most important?

          • +2

@djmm: oral b are really useless in this regard. they have over 20 different brushes and their website has no easy way to compare the specs. I have emailed them multiple times to only get told they don't have a table showing the differences between their brushes. From memory the Pro 3000 offers the max performance (from the limited data they have available) but now they have introduced their "i" and "smart" range as well it makes it even harder to know.

I wish there was some decent competition to Oral B.

@kamelataturd: This table shows some of the differences: https://www.electricteeth.com/au/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/…

It doesn't show all the models, but it seems the differences between the cheaper and more expensive models are battery life, more brush modes and 3D vs 2D brushing action (whatever that means).

@trippy: I think 3d means the head pulsates as well as rotates, 2d is rotate only.

            • @kamelataturd: Somehow it feels like the majority of online review saying sonic models (e.g. Philips) are better than rotary ones (Oral-B) so I'd say there's plenty of competition. People around me are all using Philips. I'm the only one with Oral-B haha

              • +1

@xmagic: I've used both. Can't stand the sonic brushes and find them less effective for me personally. The research supports counter oscillating as being superior to manual brushing.

      • The brush are same only different is come with different heads

  • Thanks Op. Got the his & hers with an additional $10 Commbank cashback offer

Do they all share the same charging base?

  • It’s actually marked $119 in store (well at least in Pakenham Main St store).

    • did you have a receipt can show me, please?
