I would argue that's deliberate and complements the story perfectly.
What utterly fails the story is the ending, IMO, which seizes control from you at a crucial point. Same effect as being in a cinema watching the original Star Wars and you're halfway through the final Death Star trench run and a guy sits down next to you and says, "Off you go now. I'll take it from here. I'll let you know how it turns out."
However, mos def worth $1.39 for the beautiful and often haunting visuals. Capsule — meh.
Its a great story, but its no real choice for someone looking for a 'game'
This game will take 30min-45min give or take depending on how much looking around you take, but for the price good walk through.
Have a look on the steam forms for some great Easter eggs.
Gave me shivers while playing it after reading the Easter eggs which i 1st missed :)

I played this before the graphical overhaul and really liked it - such a creepy vibe. It looks really pretty now and I probably should play it again. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea though!
Nice visuals, interesting story and ending. Not really a game though, all you do is walk very slowly in a linear path.
No matter how many people explain this game to you, it won't be anything like you expect. It's boring to start out with, but the story drags you in, and by the time you finish (about an hour) you'll find yourself thinking about what you just experienced.
Some will find it frustrating, others will love it. At this price, it's probably worth giving it a go.
I think this has expired? Showing as $6.94 before code and $5.56 after, a saving of $1.38. Am I being retarded or is it actually expired?
For those considering this:
I thought it could be cool, but it really was just walking around in a fairly linear fashion. At least, that's what it was like in the beginning, I don't know about later because I was fairly uninterested and quit.
