Ok, so I see this is headphones. Please could you add this to the title so that it is not necessary to read the deal just to discover what the product line is.

    • technically, earphones.

      • I guess so. But that site seems to call them in-ear headphones (eg the M11 range).

    • +2

Most people here know the brand, and the thumbnail makes it quite obvious.

      • +4

thumb nail doesn't show on the right hand side of the page under 'New Deals'

      • +2

I'm sure many people do know the brand but I'm sure there are plenty that don't. Maybe they have earphones and all sorts of other things too, so the thumbnail has limited relevance (on the areas of this website where it is even visible).

        • I was unable to actually put the 2nd link into the deal as its same link as the recent 4th of july deal.

      • +1

You don't see the thumbnail on the live page. Anything that helps filter posts is good.

  • Anyone interested in going halves?

    I'm interested in M31P, M6P or M11P+

Don't really need two sets. I'm in Canberra but I imagine shipping these interstate via Auspost is only a few dollars.

    • Same here for anyone in Sydney (Epping if that helps)

    • I am in Canberra and interested as well. Split the bill?

Looking at the M11P+ but if you are looking something else, I am willing to get that as well.

      • Cool, I'll PM you.

  • @safwanc : I live around Epping, wanna go halvies?

    • want to pm me your email address?

      • I can't send u a PM, did u enable it?

  • Cant mix and match =/. Looking for someone to go halves. Based in Sydney/Kensington or anywhere in CBD

    • I think it goes by the highest priced one. I've tried with the 2 different types of M16 which are different colours but listed as different products.

    • Flameo, enable your pm and message me, UNSW student interested in m11p+

  • @ Poulsen: I am in Canberra. I am looking for halves too.

    • Which ones were you after?

  • +2

LOL. people want to go halvies for $25.. hehe true ozbargain spirit! MEELEC promos are getting boring once you already have those series! I'm waiting for them to do an A161P promo! My wife hates it with a passion when she has to untangle several of them to get to the pink one!

  • If I didn't already have the SP51s from the last deal, I'd jump on this. Hmm… still wondering if it's worth having a couple of spares, for places like the beach where I don't want to risk losing or damaging my beloved SP51s.

For that price they are definitely good stocking fillers…

    • do we always assume the most expensive ones are the best ones?

  • Thinking of getting the M6P. Any other headphones good in the M series below that price range or should I just get two M6's

    • isn't M6 a 'sports' earphone? Why not just get a M21 if you don't intend to take it out running? Reviews for M21 seem pretty good.

    • I had the M6P before and wouldn't recommend it at all.

      • how come? is it the mic issue? thinking of getting the M6 (not hte m6P) and wondering if it might have the same problem if you had one

      • Im after a cheap M2 what do you think about it ? I use it for running, cycling and in most of the time im out n about

  • Nice one! was looking for a decent cheap pair. Does anyone know how M16 compares with Brainwavz Alpha Earphones ? I read reviews for both but didn't really help.

    • the M16 wire looks alot better than alpha looks more reinforced.

  • Hi Guys august 2 for 1 not working has this expired?? USA only ??

    • did you use underscores? (AUGUST_2_FOR_1)

      • Cant seem to get the M31 on this deal? anyone else have any luck?
edit: worked it out, just cant get gold ones on this deal :(

  • Anyone want to go halves with M9 ? 15 bucks each, I think I am happy to pay first and then send it to for free later when I get it. Or if you want to buy and then send it to me, I am okay with that too. PM me if you are intersted. Cheers,

    • Hey Superbass,

Happy to split the M9 with you!
Can you pm me your email address and we can go from there.

      Thanks

  • @poulsen: how about m31p? I am actually looking for good base and sound at reasonable price. Whats ur opinion?

  • Still haven't got my last order from July 4!

    • Have they been dispatched yet?
Got mine on 12th July after a 6th July dispatch - using the cheap postage option.

      • yes, it was dispatched on the 6th. I've contacted MEElectronics and have been instructed to wait 6 weeks.

        • 6 weeks is ridiculous. Not even thehut takes that long. And that's saying something.

        • No you are wrong about thehut mate. I was waiting for more than 8 weeks and turned out they never arrive. Also they didn't even try to refund me before paypal automatically refund.

          Absolutely shitty company.

        • i was talking about thehut's typical delivery time, which is around 20 to 25 days. Missing-in-transit is an exceptional circumstance. But you're absolutely right in calling them a shitty company. After 15 or so orders, here are 3 things i've learnt (off the top of my head):

          1. if you received the wrong item, never never EVER send it back to them. They say they'll refund you but it'll take you months and countless emails to get them to do anything at all. Ethically it isn't right (both for you and the company) but my advice would be to simply open up a paypal claim for "item not received". Save yourself the trouble and frustration.

          2. if your order does not show up within 28 days, lodge a paypal claim. Disregard the nicely worded message from thehut about how they want to "help" you. It's all baloney as you can see from (1) above.

          3. their customer representatives would not bother to reply if your email isn't somewhat threatening. And even if they do so, it'll be at least 2-3 days (or more), even though they claim all enquiries are responded to within 1 business day.

  • Thanks, ordered 2xM6 for 34.99 delivered, to go with my 'MEE What?' SP51P+ amd M11+.
    :D

  • Hmmm so many to choose from? Anyone can recommend which ones to get?

    Cheers,
    Jake

  • I've got an M11P+ (un-opened) and SP51P (opened to try it out) if anyone wants to buy them from me? Let me know.

  • I am after a pair for the gym. Which ones would be good?
I see there is only one option- M6/M6P. Are they okay?

    • M6 is good for gym. It does a great job staying in your ear all the time during your exercise. Although if you have a very sweaty ears like me, it could still slip out sometimes during long exercise.

This is only happened when I went for a long jogging and about to finish though. It never slip out of my ear when I was doing weight training. My friend also has a pair of M6 and never have a problem with ear phone slipping out at all so I guess my ears is just sweatier than other people's.

  • What is the different between all these little earphone ????

  • hey op. u can just buy one to get onef ree not 2.

  • Loosk like a great deal, got the M6, thanks!

  • Which is the best one / quality wise? I suppose you go by price really?

  • Just got 2 M6P

  • Just ordered a few minutes ago, a pair of M6 (1x black & 1x clear) and the site still accepted the AUGUST_2_FOR_1 and the SHIPPING_COUPON codes!

  • can anyone comment on the quality of the MEElectronics M11P+ ? They appear to be a better buy than the M6 at a glance.

    • +1

of course they are! The M11 tends toward the bass-y side but still retains sound clarity at higher frequencies. Wire is also super tangle-resistant, the best i have. My only complain is that some base melodies are lost, which makes the music sound 'shallow' (if you get what i mean).

  • I ended up buying two M11 :D, hopefully I'll get them this time.

  • Ordered 2 of the M9P and received after a week. Geez, seriously not bad for the price! I've had my fair share of earphones/IEMs/headphones ranging from $30 - $400 and I can say these earphones are truly value for money. Well done, MEE! Will definitely buy from them again in the future.
