This set is an absolute rip off at $45 but it is not bad at $29. I checked the site for stock at my local kmart and picked one up.

Some other sets are also on clearance.

  With licensed sets of these size you're really not buying the lego pieces but the lego minifigures. I don't understand why but minifigures themselves are averaged at $6 for a non-licensed figure. Add the licensing into it, you're really paying $10-$15 per figure.
  
  LEGO gets around being able to sell figures of licensed products by bundling in a play-set.

      Kmart are very aggressive with clearances. I think that if they know that there’s more sets coming in the coming months they need to make way for it
