All-time low for Australian stock straight from the manufacturer, not counting Ali Express which takes ages to arrive and also means your warranty probably means zilch.

This is in my opinion the best Android controller and is well worth the price, I've been enjoying playing PS2 classics on my phone with this beauty for a month now.

What makes this controller better than the rest is the sturdy build quality, best in class joy sticks (not small crappy Switch-style joycons) that rival an Xbox controller, and analog triggers that are high quality.

If you're considering a controller, skip the lower quality Razer Kishi and go straight to this one for the best bang for buck high quality controllers for Android.

PSA: I bought this a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I must be the unluckiest person to receive multiple bad copies. Had to order four times, return three, eventually kept my first copy.

Copy 1: inconsistent A button (it's slightly harder to push, and louder, compared to the other face buttons)
    Copy 2: mushy B button
    Copy 3: mushy B button
Copy 4: mushy B button and M2 button

So eventually I gave up and decided to keep my first copy. To add insult to injury, Auspost has somehow lost one of my returns, so I'm still waiting to resolve it with Amazon, fingers crossed…

If you do get a good copy though, it's a pretty decent controller.

    Edit:

Pro tip: the M button mapping is broken out of box (M1 works, M2 doesn't). You will need to download the Gamesir app to upgrade the firmware. Once the firmware is upgraded it works fine. Then you can uninstall the Gamesir app, otherwise every time you connect the app bugs you with a "do you want to connect" message.

    • That's sad to hear, I haven't had any issues with mine as of yet, wish you luck on the next one.

      • Just got Amazon to refund my lost return (had to wait 14+ days), hooray.

I just placed an order again, hopefully this time I finally get a good copy.

  • What about the gamevice flex?

    • Good controller, no Aussie stock however. If you're willing to get overseas stock, it still runs you back $150+.

  • Would this be ok using it with a foldable? If not, any recommendations

    • Not recommended if it's a Galaxy Fold, because of the USB-C placement, the screen will fold down, which means the screen is under your hands rather than above your hands.

  • @harcle what phone have you been playing ps2 on?

S23 Ultra using AetherSX2, resolution scaling at 2.25x for 1080p

Do you need to remove the case to use it?

        • You do unfortunately, unless you mod the controller by cutting off the rubber where the USB side is

      • Ooft I've been wondering how it will perform with the gamesir. Sounds like a winner.

  • Can't speak for this one but i have the non-pro model and like it quite a lot more than my Razer Kishi V2. More comfortable to hold, buttons feel nicer, no touchscreen mapping (for games that don't support a controller) but the Kishi sucks at that and I wouldn't use it anyway.
If you have a Samsung Fold I'd recommend the non-pro too, since the USB-C port is on the left side which lets your phone open upwards instead of down.

  • are you also carrying around powerbank to keep your phone charged?

    • +1

Nah, S23 Ultra lasts a crazy long time regardless

  • Does it fit pixel 6 with its the camera bump?

  • I just received mine (my fifth copy!). Unfortunately the face buttons are still inconsistent, slightly worse than my first copy, so I'm returning this one…

    How's everyone else's?
