Saw this in aldi yesterday, fridge itself is quite large but thats probably why they don't call it a mini bar fridge!
Got its brother, the freezer last week. It's excellent!
I wish the bastards would use as much insulation with the fridge though.
Those walls look kinda thin and puny and inefficient by comparison.
Still not a bad deal.
the fridge is a much better deal than the stupid heller fridge I got from dealsdirect.com.au. (3 year warranty vs 1 year warranty). Heller fridges are horrible, my fridge's compressor broke down shortly after a year; rendering the entire fridge useless as it would be too expensive to repair.
Energy rating is meh…

Looks like one of those specialised appliances that people buy with good intentions (yummy poffertjes, who could say no to them) but in 90+% of cases ends up sitting idle in a corner of the kitchen for years until somebody recycles it or puts it out for the whitegoods waste collection.
Like the hot dog heater and the doughnut fryer.
Picked one of the stainless steel models up today - let's see how it goes!
looks like the one i bought a year or two ago. still running
