Probably not, when Nintendo have a new console in the works they usually like to keep their AAA titles for the new console.
Actually, the first one was a DS game — New Super Mario Bros Wii wasn't a port of the DS game, it was a whole new game designed for the Wii. If you want a new non-handheld NSMB game, New Super Mario Bros U will be a launch title for the Wii U.

Not worth the 3 weeks of waiting IMO.
It comes out a day earlier in the UK, and they normally send out preorders ~ 3 days before release date, so I would say it would only be a few days later than the one from DSE.

Just ask for a price-match when you pay in full. I did the same when jb had Gravity Rush for cheaper and i wanted eb's preorder bonus.

I haven't dealt with EB in a long time, but from memory, they only let you price match the game itself (if at all)…they add in some cheap accessory so you can't price match their "bundle".
