Yeah it's the Turanza Serenity Pluses not Ecopia.
They did Ecopia back in March … and increase price in last 2 weeks of promo
Turanza Serenity Plus is better than Ecopia anyway. But yeah the tyre I'm looking at went up by at least $60 since a couple of years ago. Just wait for mycar to do their 50% off Pirellis again.
@CVonC: Any idea when that mycar special comes around?
@ronitdias: 50% in Nov for Black Friday and 33% in June for EOFY.
They are buy 3 get 1 free now for May if you're after Ecopia tyres
https://www.bridgestone.com.au/
Hate how they don't list the actual price
They do if you enter your location and select a store?
All I get is an option to contact the store, have noticed a lot of tyre places do this
Try a different store. They're around about the same price at each store anyway.
Edit: just read your reply below that you already did :)
I thought you could see the price one you select the store and tire size. 235/40R18 is listed as $270 for the Turanza Serenity Plus and $260 for the RE003. Potenza Sport ($280), is also get the 4th free.
Must be stock or location dependent, after changing stores to one closer to the city I was able to get prices up
web site is crap
Also appears to apply to the Potenza Sport, which in my sizing was marginally more than the RE003.
Prices have gone up by 25% in the last year.
Unfortunately with the pandemic, supply chain issues, growing cost of raw material and energy cost hasn't been kind to tyre prices.
For example for a 215 60 16, I was able to get a name brand Tyre (Bridgestone, Dunlop, Toyo) for around $110-120 each. Now I'm spending around $150-160 a corner!
Yeah true. RE003 215/55/R17 was about $185 single tyre in 2021 and now its $235.
Container shipping prices have made a big difference in tyre prices as well.
can someone tell me are RE0003s for size 235 45 17 at the 164 per tyre cheap compared to other stores to buy em? at that discounted price it seems cheaper that other stores including balancing and fitting but I can't tell compared to like new prices all year around and other discounts etc?
You're getting $164? I'm getting $219 for that size!
with the discount it brings it down to that price for each tyre technically speaking which I don't think is bad but Tyroola also have em for 161 per tyre plus like 15 or so per tyre for fitting which is there normal price pretty sure.
Oh true lol. Yeah always good to still shop around. I think it's only worth going with Bridgestone Select for the Turanza Serenity Plus (exclusive to Bridgestone Select) cos they have the 50k km guarantee.
Can you buy 2 tyres of one size and 2 of another to get the deal? Or do you have to buy a set of 4 of the same size?
Edit: For 2 different carsI'm also keen to know the answer to this one…!
cheers
Thanks. I am in need of a new set of tyres and this deal helped me out.
I put some of the RE003s on my Model 3 last time these were on sale. Few months later, all good. Much cheaper than the Michelin Pilot Sports and just as good for regular everyday driving and the occasional "hard" driving on country backroads.
isn't this a standard offer at costco?
No but they participate in this promo when it's on.
Am i blind? I can't see the ecopia's
