So I need a data sim as a backup connection for a beach house. it will only be used for the cameras so needs minimal gb, maybe 10gb max for the year. Does anyone have a suggestion of what would be the cheapest? $95/Aldi mobile seems to be the cheapest. Anything else worth considering? Maybe something we're you just pay per GB with a low monthly fee ($0).

Amaysim "As You Go" is $10 for the whole year.

But the data is very expensive at 5c/MB. If you use less than 1.5GB for the year it will be less than $89. Is it going to be sending video/images?
E.tel has something similar… https://www.etel.com.au/mini-5
Or for $50 with CMobile you could get 2.5 GB (assuming 0 calls/texts) for the whole year… https://www.cmobile.com.au/plans/c-red-payg-plan/
1.5GB for the year it will be less than $89
🤣🤣🤣
Bargain !!!!
For 100 mb = $15 for the year = $0.04 per day.
OP needs 10GB

How about this one, $10/m unlimited data. $120 a year
Worth shopping around Coles, Woolworths, Amaysim, Catch Connect et al. Catch is doing $89
Or pay your neighbours to share their wifi?
