Dettol wipes clean many surfaces such as kitchen benchtops, bins, sinks, taps, door handles, baths, shower screens, children’s toys and more. Keep Dettol multipurpose cleaning wipes handy in your kitchen, bathroom, living room, or at work for everyday use

These are handy and while this is certainly not the cheapest I have seen, this is a good price - might be matching WW/CW individual pack price.

The original also seem to be on sale - or you could choose the Subscribe and Save option for even cheaper.

Is this cheap compared to woolies / Coles sales?

  • +1

I use the aldi antibacterial wipes. Just so much more liquid until it ends. I find that the other brands have slightly smaller wipes . Plus the aldi ones are always cheap.

  • Coles ones shit all over any other brand.

  • I honestly don't know why people use these. They're horrible for the environment. Buy a pack of microfiber cloths (big bags around 1kg are $10 at Bunnings), a spray bottle ($2) and 2L of vinegar ($1.50). When you've gone though the 1kg of clothes (I actually have 2kg, which is about 80 cloths, which lasts me about two months of regular home cleaning) I put them in on a long hot cycle with extra rinse.

No waste plus it's cheaper. Vinegar is also not toxic so it's less chemicals in your house and you're not contributing to creating super bacteria. You can also use them on glass for spot free finish (both windows and wine glasses if they ever have spots on them). I live in a subtropical area, so occasionally find mould in the house. Vinegar is also great at killing mould.

I honestly can't tell you how much money you'll save and get better streak free results with microfiber and diluted vinegar/water spray for tables, windows, glasses, mould and pretty much all surfaces. Just give it a go.

    • Vinegar is not a surfactant and doesn't clean oils. Just use any actual spray bottle cleaner and you're good to go.
