I'm looking for a cheap 10inch tablet for watching videos.
Edit, must be able to play 720/1080p mkv files.

Be on the lookout for the Google Nexus 10". It should arrive by the end of this year and with a quad core CPU should be able to handle 1080p with no issues.
Other than that, you can look at the Aussiepad which also features a quad core GPU. It uses an RK3066 CPU which is fairly powerful processor (even better than Tegra2 in some cases)

Check up DinoDirect.com, they have all sorts of cheapies tablets and most of them with free postage to australia. It also accepts Paypal.
There is a 9.7" tablet with hdmi out, android 4.0 and 1.2ghz cpu for $159.99 post free. It's under Andtai Android 4.0 9.7" tablet and it just may be the one for you
My galaxy tab 8.9 (Same specs as 10.1 apart from the screen) plays DivX just fine, but chugs on anything encoded in 720p or above.
