Rex is a full service (checked luggage, carry on luggage, refreshments) airline, flying mostly 737-800NGs on these one way routes (Ex Virgin planes).

Their midweek promo where their midweek fares are less continues, so I've gone through some more 2023 dates to find the cheapest flights on all their routes. Hopefully it helps someone!

On some of the dates, Jetstar or Virgin may show up cheaper if applicable (eg $40 on way on some of the routes with Jetstar), but Rex does include checked luggage and refreshments, while Jetstar and usually Virgin now charge for checked luggage (on their Lite fares). All include carry-on luggage.

    I’ll upvote for the deal and effort, but ugh, there are so many popups and ads on this site. Makes it almost impossible to use on an iPad.

    hey beattheflight, thanks for the post. Does this deal end tonight? I have to make a few domestic bookings for june but I don't have confirmed dates until tomorrow. Or fingers crossed there's another mid-week sale next week for VA or Rex.

      Nope, it's running for a while I gather!
      Note also Virgin has their happy hour sale on Thursdays at 4pm SYD time, so depending on your route, it might be worth waiting until then and trying the search on our site to see who is cheapest!
