  i think it's cos the new 2012 model HTZ-828BD is already out. The best price i found for the new model on the net is approx A$800. so personally i think this is a great deal. thumbs up.

  I bought the Sony system from Costco for $400 last month when it was $50 off. Really good system for the price. Your not gonna blow the house down but I have it surrounding my bed and it is great. Though i wonder how the pioneer goes? the sub looks quite thin?
  I believe the LG system is also at costco now for $400 normal price.

  Good find. What would be the best deal around $300 for an amp/receiver with speakers? Don't really need the blu-ray player, just need something with multiple HDMI inputs.

  Strange. JB even have a big ad in today's herald sun newspaper (Vic) not just for 20% off All home theatre Systems, receivers and speakers but also 15% off TVs as well.
