Stumbled across this deal when searching for an external mic to use with my QC25s for gaming.

The wired ones are brilliant (I've been told without prompting that the voice quality is exceptionally good over calls) but I have no experience with the wireless ones.

I think they're still pretty niche. If your headphones are already wired, then you'll get a better quality microphone for the same price.
If you have a wireless headphones, adding this into this mix now means managing 2 batteries.
I still this is a better avenue than getting a gaming headset where microphones have traditionally been absolute garbage. Being able to mix different headphones with microphones gives you more options and should ultimately make you happier.
Exactly what i needed these for. Currently using my old PS4 headset on my PS5 and my mates said the mic is absolute dogshit.
Searched for a new gaming headset and was quite surprised at the price of some of these mid to premium sets and all seem to have really bad mics as you said.
So decided on this to couple with my wired QC25 which sound amazing with the noise cancellation.
Prob wouldn't buy for rrp though.
If you're a Qudelix 5k or FiiO BTR3/BTR5 user these will turn your kit into the best gaming headset money can buy.
Love mine, only criticism is I wish they had USB-C over micro USB. Hoping they do a revision sooner rather than later.
