Anyone Here That’s Tried Saname (Bone Broth Powder)?

Hi there

I generally make my own broth, portion the excess and freeze it for later. Though recently I have started consuming it almost every other day as it’s quite filling, healthy(?) whilst also aiding me with my 1 meal a day diet routine.
Due to the lack of available time, I am considering buying some readymade broth and I stumbled upon the Saname’s chicken bonebroth poweder (https://saname.com/products/collagen-superbone).
Listed INGREDIENTS are : P360™ Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides, Chicken Meat Powder, Chicken Oil & Chicken Bone Broth Powder, Onion extract, Ginger, Organic Chicken Bone Broth Powder (Organic grass-fed Chicken, organic nutritional yeast, organic onions, organic carrots, organic celery, organic tamari, organic apple cider vinegar, organic garlic, Himalayan rock salt, organic pepper), Mixed Dry Herbs.

Just here asking the masses if any of you have tried this product and if yes, did you like it? are you still on it?
If yes, do you have any discount codes to share, lol.
If not, did you find a better alternative and what is it?

After being on this site and reading what other people have to share, I now know that I know very little when it comes to food science and this post is merely a discussion piece rather than some preachy attempt.

Thanks

I have this in my kitchen at the moment and I highly recommend this. Makes any soup much richer.

"my 1 meal a day diet routine"
    what the?

Are you saying you’ve never heard of OMAD?

I'd be MAD if I was on it
        .

        • Intermittent fasting?

I mean every now and then I’d have something light in the morning hours, plus a fruit or two here and there.

    • bone broth as a daily meal.
If its good enough for Gwenyth, its good enough for anyone :)

      • lol, I have it around midday and then have a proper balanced meal later in the afternoon/evening time.

  • Why do they have to add all that other stuff, so annoying.

Can you tell me about your omad routine?

      Don’t know myself 🤷‍♂️

Can you tell me about your omad routine?

It’s basically intermittent fasting. I eat a proper meal once every 20-22 hours.
Start off the day with some hot water mixed with lemon squeeze, apple cider vinegar and often swallow a raw clove of garlic with it(🤞helps with some well anticipated BP and thyroid issues in the future)
Some soup or a salad/fruit around noon and then later a meal involving some cooked greens, meat/pulses for lunch/dinner.
Physically, my energy levels are pretty much back to what they were when I was 23 and my lastest blood test results only show a slight deficiency of Vitamin D and everything else seemed to be fine.

Thank you. Ive tried omad a little bit myself and i did like it. Do you recommend any sources of info?

        • +1

Not sure, there’s an information overload on the internet, people contradicting each other. Not sure who to believe.
I personally refer to my friend, he’s a trainer but he didn’t have any input on the bone broth, so I thought I’d post here about it.

      • and often swallow a raw clove of garlic with it

Why do you swallow a whole garlic clove instead of chewing it first?

        • I could chew them too but that would be a struggle and it’s all the same anyways

          • +1

@Gervais fanboy: If you incorporated chopped/crushed garlic into your recipes then no struggle unless you dislike the taste altogether.

Also, crushing, chopping or chewing a clove of raw garlic releases the allicin which is a strong antioxidant and you may not get the full benefit swallowing it whole unless you have strong stomach acid.
