You are the owner of the on-site caravan in a caravan park (just the semi-permanent caravan). Can you lease it out to earn income on AirBnb or any other way to rent out?

I highly doubt it. At least not in a legit way. These places usually give a set number of free nights then you pay a reduced rate for other stays.
There's likely a set number of nights you can offer to others to stay in your place and most parks record your rego for entry.https://www.airbnb.com.au/stays/campers probably works best if you have a trendy Caravan on your own land.
What happens to your Caravan Insurance when you start renting it? Ask your Insurer…

Some caravans are actually very nice. Though even bad caravans cost as much as a dilapidated house to rent from what I've seen.

Be careful, lots of caravan parks are evicting permo's… they make more $ out of overnighter/weekenders etc ….
Know a few people on camper forum who were given 3 mths notice to remove their vans which had been there for decades and was no real way of moving them without destroying them
OK, I contacted some owners in diff Caravan parks and conclusion was you can't give them for lease. Hope this helps others.
It depends, some you can lease but the visitors have to pay additional cost per day of the stay and in the end it ends up costing them more than just book directly with other caravan parks like discovery or big 4 so why bother.
in short, don't waste your money on those van places for pure financial purposes.
