    Last post I mentioned you could buy similar lick mats cheaper on Aliexpress & the Rep started mentioning Australia numerous times -

    These are not equivalent products - we are a small business specialising in Australian-made / Australian-designed products (you can find out more on our "About us" page). We are all about supporting the local economy, so we specifically avoid stocking items that come from sources where there may be questionable regulations and oversight on manufacturing.
    Our currently stocked products are primarily sourced from Goulburn, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney. LickiMat is a Sydney-based company founded by Australian veterinarians which employs over 20 people - I certainly think that purchasing their products constitutes supporting Australian jobs.

    Then member @antwill called them out - Except Lickimat products are made in China and it even says so on the back of the packaging…

    Yes, LickiMats are manufactured in China

    Negging for misleading comments.

      Please read the description on this post - you can clearly see that LickiMats are not listed as Australian-made. There is nothing misleading about it.

          Yes they were designed here. LickiMat is a local company founded by Australian vets and holds the trademarks and patents for LickiMats. While there are plenty of Chinese rip-off products, LickiMat are the original developers. You can find out more information about their credentials and where they’re based here:

          It would be much more profitable for us to stock imitation products from overseas and then list them for the same price, but that is not what our brand is about, despite what some commenters say.
