I have been a continuous member of several health funds for 4 years but recently when I switched from Bupa to Medibank, the clearance certificate Medibank sent me said I have to wait 10 years for my loading to be removed, when it is actually six. This has happened before and after I pointed it out last time,it was fixed but now it has happened again and this time is not fixed. I had called Medibank, who took weeks to get back to me and the girl pretty much said I had to prove it. So I spent my Saturday night going through emails to prove continuous membership., now I don tknow my next move because they take so long to get back to you. So make sure your transfer clearance certificates are correct because these 2 funds are not trustworthy

This looks so confusing.

no but I have found all my transfer certificates and I am going to write to the email address they gave me at the beginning. I think I have identified the problem. Bupa sent me their clearance certificate that said I had 1460 paid days and Medibank then sent me their certificate that said I had 0 paid days. I have both certificates.and a complete record of my memberships everywhere
actually there is one missing earlierr Bupa cert but I have the membership number and dates

Still not resolved, I had to get the Ombudsman involved because their customer service is non existant. Now my 25000 sign up points are missing, and I have to go on a new chase some service roller coaster, these big companies are staffed by people who do as little work as possible
