I have noticed that Target (and other shops) have similar sales each year at the same time. Does anyone have a list of general sales from past years? Or, do you know how I can access old catalogues? I am wanting to buy some things but not if they are about to come on sale. Thank you.

Hahaha this one got me good
Obviously, nobody can predict the future, but there are times of the year to get a good deal.
We are about to enter laptop season, as the end of financial year is good for laptops, IT gear and not bad for cars, though COVID has changed that. For some reason, EOFY also seems to get good wine deals.
Boxing Day is still good for linen, towels and some homewares.
November/December is good for mobiles, presumably in anticipation of Xmas.
There is usually a toy sale in August-ish that is a hold over from the old days when people would lay by toys for Xmas months ahead an pay off little by little before the big day.
Clothes on sale at the end of seasons.
Easter eggs after Easter, turkeys after Xmas…pretty good list, I would add:
afterpay day sales (a lot of other unrelated stores also jump on the bandwagon), usually around march and aug
black friday (end of Nov) sales
Christmas stuff goes on sale after Christmas. Easter stuff is on sale now. Most stuff in the supermarket goes on sale every other week.
