        • I guess you can always try the previous code yourself to see if it works or not. Perhaps the factory reset didn't work properly

        • +1

You clearly did not do a factory reset…

      Yep ive seen this.

Had to add the user back with the same code and then delete them again.

There may be another account of it on the forum

  • serious security breach

Oh, i thought you were hacked or robbed or something.

    • No, just that the lock granted an unauthorised person access to my home. Nothing serious /s

  • Can anyone provide any guidance if this would fit my metal door?
    Pictures and measurements here

    • Doesn’t look like it

      • Bummer. Will have to return it when it arrives then

        • Actually maybe not.
The latch is about 15mm wide. See if would fit through your existing cover plate?

          • @mrgeckoz: From looking at the pictures looks like ULTRALOQ UL300 might be more suited to my door? Will need to measure

    • Have you measured your backset correctly? It can be either 60mm or 70mm.

  • I just installed mine. Fairly easy replacement. Only had to drill 2mm larger for the latch, lucky had the right tools. Took less than 45mins in total.
Works brilliantly. Locks automatically if left unlocked too.

Yeah be careful with that. Itll autolock itself when open and then the bolt will strike your doorjam on close

      • Thanks for the heads up. Already thought about that lol!

  • Our front door has a pull handle right above the deadbolt lock, just wondering if the inside lock mechanism can be fitted upside down so I can make it fit?

    • Do you have a photo?

One of the features that seem cool but reduces the locks security is the "add random digits before and after your pin code".

So a person can just type in a long sequence of characters and may collide you pin code somewhere in it.

Basically you should always ensure you make your pin code longer than 1/2 the maximum possible length.

    • Anti-peep code is a great feature.
If you enable it, then obviously do not use a simple passcode. =)

Lockly's PIN Genie is probably the best anti-peep solution. But I can't stand their locks - very bulky and I would most likely have to remove my security door to fit it in.
