In case anyone is interested in buying it from Woolworths instead of Big W (I know Woolies owns this and it's probably coming from the Big W Warehouse) or Amazon.

There's a first for everything
Anyone try their monthly discount code (from insurance/mobile) on this + stack with 5% Giftcards?
Tried with the usual code each month (APR2023) and it doesn't discount. Also a Woolies Mobile customer and it doesn't give me the option to use my 10% discount.
Thx for trying that, otherwise would be a very good deal
If you add a Woolies supermarket item it will apply the code but the discount doesn't apply to the PS5 unfortunately.
@GregRust: Did you check on the big w website itself?
https://www.bigw.com.au/product/playstation-5-disc-console-g…
I get a PS5, grandma gets 4 cents a litre off her next fill up. Win win.
“Sold & shipped by an Everyday Market Partner“
Yer probably Big W. But it's funnier this way.
Can confirm it Big W when you add to cart.
aaahhh i didnt get that far :D
Woolies, like with other big companies, such as Kogan and Bunnings, have opened up the website/brand to "market place" listing. You can see that the third party is Big W. "Sold & shipped by BIG W"
yeah, I don't see any benefits in the long run as they have absolutely no control over what would be sent to customers.. but I recon it could bring a temp sale boost and maybe make a few more cents for the "smart" managers behind this idea?
Shipping is free over $100 right?
Oui.
No that's a different console! 😄
But why would anyone order it via Woolworths? Same price at BigW and Amazon delivered
idk, funny to say you bought a games console at Safeway?
Suppose with returns, if you're looking more for your money back than a refurb/replacement, Woolies is probably less likely to be able to get you a new PS5 than Big Dub. I'm really reaching here.
weird…. I used to see someone trying to claim warranty/return from Bunnings counter while they bought something from their marketplace.. apparently Bunnings staff can't do anything but say go fxxk yourself and try to reach the seller somehow…..
Is it fresh?
Is it food?
Is it people?
Same price everywhere else
Wouldn't say everywhere else, showing up as $904 at JB HIFI:
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/ps5-playstation-5-console…
Our local JB price matched our local Big W pricing
I am wondering is it worth to pay that more for disc version, since digital and disc are the same with internal hardware except the disc.
Physical games are significantly cheaper on launch and then you can trade or sell the games afterwards.
Wouldnt waste my time with digital unless you planned to get PS+ extra/deluxe. Games on the PS store generally release at $100+ for AAA games compared to $70-$80 for disc. You have some resale value for disc if you like to go that route. Other thing is unless you have good internet can be a pain waiting to download a game rather than download off the disc. Generally you will probably only get 10-12 games on the internal hard drive so redownloading probably would be a pain.
Just purchase this bundle from the Sony Castle Hill NSW store with price match using the Amex card to get $100 credit. effective price after Amex credit is $699
Is Sony store offering this with the game? Not shown on their website site though
what in the world.
