Multiple eSIMs and Its Function on iPhone and Other Phones

Hi, anyone here used multiple esims? I saw that iPhone allows up to 8 esims with dual no. active. I am wondering if those inactive esim profile will receive miss calls notification and SMS when activated?

Is there also a way where you can keep more than 2 esims/sims active? Dual sims seems to be the limit. Can Apple watch has its own esim?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Just want to reduce the no. of devices I have to carry.

Do you receive missed call notifications and SMS when your phone is off for a while and you turn it on again, or when you remove a physical SIM and put it back in again after a day?

Only two sims can work at a time (1 sim + 1 esim, or 2 esims).

Have you tried call forward ?
