Not nearly the best price (have be found around $50, but who knows these days), but noticed these were on a sale as looking to replace my Air2s that went through the wash. Difference between these and the regular Air3 is the larger case battery.

    This is the weekly price

I've owned three pairs of their headphones, of similar price. All three have failed (one earpiece becomes much quieter than the other). I returned all of them. Might have just been a dodgy product line but I wouldn't recommend them after that experience. Worth it to spend just a bit more to get something better IMO

Just wanted to pipe in and say I've owned several SoundPEATS buds and only had one issue around four years ago (with the original Truengine model). I currently have both the SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE and the SoundPEATS H2. Both are fantastic and outperform their price bracket significantly. Truengine model is a little bulky for those that prefer a smaller bud.

I recommend these regularly and have so far only had really positive feedback.

I'm using Soundpeats QC32's which have lasted well for 4 years now.
Not a single issue - would recommend.

Glad to hear others have had better luck. As always, YMMV

Curious if you were using the EQ through the SoundPEATS app? I grabbed the Air3 Deluxe HS from a recent deal and one bud being quieter than the other was driving me crazy, plus I didn't appreciate the app being cheeky with permissions (forcing location to use an EQ? like seriously gtfo). I was convinced I was going to return these.

It was a shame as I really liked the sound quality and fit of these buds (never liked rubber plugs so these are a great alternative), but after experimenting a bit I stopped using the EQ, reset the buds, and haven't had the volume issue since.

With the volume issue "resolved" (guessing it's a bug?) I've decided to keep them as there doesn't seem to be anything quite like them for around that $50 mark, and buds upwards of 3x the price of these aren't without their own reports of quirks and issues either.

It kinda sucks I can't use the EQ, maybe a firmware update will fix that one day, but until then I'm still pretty stoked with these for the $48 I paid.

No, I wasn't using the EQ app. I don't think it was a software issue and I shouldn't have to use a specific app just to get headphones to function properly anyway. When the volume issue first appeared I could kinda fix it by adjusting the L/R channel volume in my phone system settings but that's a very not ideal solution.

A shame, as I thought the fit was great and they never fell out.

        • Fair enough, probably different to my issue then.

Totally agree you shouldn't have to stuff around with an app just to get em to work properly, much less adjust your L/R balance.

Definitely a shame, fingers crossed mine hold up and that they eventually resolve whatever is causing these issues as they're otherwise great little buds, especially for the money.

@itscyanide: Got the Air 3 HS, and yep there's a volume bug, if you switch between the settings in the EQ it'll reset the levels back to normal!….

But it's not a great fix when I'm using them between a laptop and phone, for the price they do the job IMHO, but you do lose out on consistency!

  • The Deluxe HS which is the high res version is $55.24 now, although it was a bit cheaper a few weeks ago.

  • I bought the Air3 Deluxe HS, and it's too hard. Feeling my ears are a bit hurt. The sound is not that great, either. Don't bother them. Send it back to Amazon and get the refund already.

    • Too hard? What does that even mean?
