      • ALDI one has bigger chuck and more torque.
Ozito has a slightly bigger battery, 2.5ah vs. 2.0ah.
I believe Ozito has a wider tool range too.
        Really depends what you’re after.

      • I took 4 aldi drills back in the last release. They all had wobbly chucks.

      • Wouldn't it be better to buy from bunnings for warranty purposes? If aldi no lo ger stocks these then you'd be forced to buy another brand potentially not on sale.

  • would this be ok for DIY wood work etc (building pinball machine/arcade on a later day, example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3zjnV_7UgE )?
I was looking for Ryobi but it is expensive.

I also found recommendation for this saw from another thread.

      I’d say more than enough.
If you have the extra $50 budget get this one.
Much more decent drill and doubles battery capacity: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/765843

thanks a lot mate, I was actually looking for that one earlier but I was wondering after seeing this deal.

    • I would buy a good circular saw as cheaper ones tend to be wobbly (I have no idea if that's the case with the one you linked to, just read reviews).

As a drill/driver it's more than enough. Actually you can even consider a lighter, 12V one for an arcade cabinet.

    • I've got this drill as well as the brushless hammer version, this one has a fair bit less power (even though this is also brushless) than the hammer version and as a result I barely use it. Generally only use this one for very light screwing or as a second drill for pre-drilling holes. It will likely be fine for what you intend, but might struggle with bigger jobs.

      • I used this drill on construction of a 10m x 3.2m deck to drill pilot holes (https://www.bunnings.com.au/macsim-10g-clever-tool-standard-…) for the decking screws, driven in with an impact driver.
        Worked a treat.

        • Yea 100% capable for pre-drill / pilot work and probably majority of the other jobs around the house. I've got the hammer drill and impact driver too for bigger jobs needing more torque. Can't really complain about the PXC range. I've used it alongside Ryobi drill and imo PXC hammer drill has more power.

    Love Ozito PxC!

yeh it doesnt have all the features and is less powerful than the other ones costing 3-4x more but you get 80%* of the high end rivals for 25% of the price. Tell me that isnt good value. Totally deserves to be OzBargain's favourite power tool brand

.* feature percentage totally made up

They actually have tools that many others don't have - even 'high end' like Makita, Dewalt, Bosch, etc

      • +1

        5 year warranty too!
        Well above industry average 3

Yep. And Ozito includes drill chucks in their 5 year manufacturer warranty for PXC tools.
Several major manufacturers don't, as they treat drill chucks as consumables (which are often only covered for 3 months). Examples are DeWalt, Ryobi, etc.
This reality upsets the ToolBros on here

          • @Boogerman: incredible stuff from ozito. even if they priced them higher I would still buy them as who would be the competition - only ryobi but they have 3 year warranty and the same specs so Ozito still wins

thank you Bunnings for selling us home handymen this awesome brand!

Looking for a rotary hammer drill. Is there one on sale?

    • Ozito PXC 18V Brushless Rotary Hammer Drill - Skin Only
      Value for money.

    • Get the ozito 1500w corded one if the lack of battery isn’t a dealbreaker for you. Cheap and powerful

Looking for impact driver kit. Canyone recommend any good option on sale? Thanks

  • Looking for a brushless circular saw on sale. Thanks.

5 year warranty applies for "home user"…apparently 5 year warranty is not applicable if you use your powerpass trade card for the discount…..
Although i havent tested the warranty yet….
