Drive Professional Laundry Powder Bucket 8kg $49.95 + $10 Delivery (Free C&C) @ Mitre 10

110

This detergent came recommended by my Aunty who is Uber fussy when it comes to detergent. Personally my go to is Aldi brand or Omo. But then I took the plunge and tried this brand…

And wow. Not only was it amazing. I found it to really run rings around other detergents.

For example. Grass stains we have always sprayed with pre stain spray and put laundry booster in and in some cases have to wash more than once. With this particular detergent we don’t have to do either. So that in itself is a massive cost saving for us!

Give it a try for those who haven’t. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Can this be used with a front loader?

    • +2

Mines a front loader. You actually need less than half a scoop for a full load and still does a ripper job…!

      • Just add it in the drawer as well? when i use powder i chuck it in the washing?

        • +1

          Just in the draw.

Always better to chuck it in the load. Better still dissolve it in a little water in the cup and add it straight to the wash. Avoids gunk building up in the feeder tube from the dispenser to the inner drum.

I'm not comparing dollar for dollar as I don't know the price or weight, but I heard the Kirklands liquid detergent is super great. Before you start using it, you ll run an empty cycle with that detergent and it clears out the gunk in your machine first. If you don't do that then the gunk ends up on your clothes. Trying to finish up all my half price Dynamo's so that I can give that a try

Not really perfect , i tried euca . I found no matter how much quantity i put the white cloths don't get clean. Simiple school kids dirty marks were still there . Then i went back to Omo , bag one wash white cloths were white without any dirty marks. Good bye Euca wlecome back Omo. May try Drive next time.
