Rudy Project Sunglasses Clearance Prices Reduced

40

Don't know how long the reductions will last

You know something is expensive when it's advertised in the QANTAS magazine but fear not these Italian made glasses can be purchased at a reasonable price. eRudy is an authorised reseller and although their postage is overnight courier only ($12.95) they have some really good clearance specials.

I got an email and they're running specials on their specials. For example:
Magster RRP $329
Usual clearance price $109
Current special clearance price $89

Not all their clearance specials have a reduced price so have a look if you're interested. These are the best sporting glasses I have ever used and I buy my prescription inserts from overseas (about 1/3 the cost) and then buy multiple frames from here.

Niche, I know, and I enjoy being one of the only ones around who wears these but I thought I'd share the love.

I have a pair of Rudys and yes they're great. Just be wary of the value of the lens guarantee though - it's only for as long as the model is in production. About six months after I bought mine, they stopped making that particular model, so I paid a significant premium for "lifetime" lens guarantee that has no real world value.

  • Hi OP
I do exactly the same. Costs me one third as well. I have a few combinations of Noyz lenses and frames.
Where did you get your prescription lenses made? I got it from sports optics in Denver. Also had it made by eRudy from America. They don't deliver to Oz. but had them shipped to a friend in Anerica. They are both great.

    • I bought mine online and use a mail forwarding service, here's the store: http://www.sporteyes.com/rudy.htm

I got Magster frame with prescription Impact-X clear, prescription Impact-X clear and non-prescription Impact-X photopolar grey for less than $700 including the forwarding costs. I think to buy the same frame with one set of lenses will cost you over a grand in Aus…regional ripoff.

So I've been watching those salesand when I saw them drop I got myself some new frames. :)

  • Woops, we broke it

User rudy_user already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections

  • i'll stick with holloway eyewear

    • Different strokes for different folks. The RP sunglasses I buy are specifically for sport.

  • rudys (and maui jims) are definitely the best sunnies around :)

heavily reduced prices but unfortunately all the ones i like are out of stock :(

  • Sorry if it's a silly question, but are the lenses included in these? (I'm confused about what is and isn't included with the above lens talk)

    • Yeah they include the lenses which is stated in the description. All the other lenses I was talking about were just extra ones I purchased seperately.

The free (extra) lens offer does not apply to the clearance/sale sunglasses

      • Cheers, makes more sense now :)
