Has Anyone Received 2 Phones from Samsung Care + by Mistake?

One of my friends has received 2 phones, one s21 ultra 2 weeks ago and he returned the old phone already.

2 days ago, he received another replacement from Samsung Asurion. He is quite confused about it. Tried calling Asurion but because it has been so busy lately, he has not been able to get in touch with anyone.

Checked his cc statement, and he has been charged only once. What can be done? Anyone experienced this before?

    He tried calling.

    Not his fault they have poor customer service.

    I would use one of them, then leave the other on the shelf in the box for 12 mths and see if they call/email. If I hear nothing, then sell.

    I’ve said it before, but they have abysmal service. Friend sent a mail to one of their public customer support email addresses, and they got an out of office about them going to eat sushi in Japan

      Much to 87percent's surprise, they received a response from the customer support representative named James, who was currently on vacation in Japan. The email read, "Out of Office: I am currently enjoying sushi in Japan and will be unable to assist you with your query. My apologies for any inconvenience caused."

    I’ve gotten 2 phones from Telstra when I made a phone order for an iPhone.
    They had no record of the 2nd ever being ordered so I kept it.

    Well if you’ve tried to return it and you can’t get onto them through no fault of your own… I guess it’s yours.

  • Thank you everyone for your valuable input. I am sure everything can be tracked via IMEI numbers so he was a bit skeptical about it, also he has quite high morales. He will email to the support numbers and ask for advice.
