Pity EASTER5 isn't valid on it.

Love mine. Use every day atleast one for my baby’s food. Blends everything effortlessly. I had the base model before this which lasted 1.5 years of daily use. This one is heaps better and not “that” loud. If that helps anyone

Everything that food contacts is plastic in these machines

    • Do you have any recommendations for non-plastic ones?

I use a Kenwood Blend-X Pro Blender. Glass jug, steel bottom and blade and silicone seal. Those are the only materials in contact with food. It's very good imo.

I believe most glass jar blenders are similar, though some do have plastic discs under the blade.

It is great, I paid $219 for mine in October 2022 and it was a good deal (From JB Hi-Fi).

    • Ooops I have a slightly different model. Mine has a big blender like cup (2L) as well and a second knife.

  • Thanks OP

  • I wonder if they've improved the quality of the blades on these. They normally class the blades as consumable parts that should be replaced every 6 to 12 months and are only covered by a 12 month warranty.

They could probably afford to just give the unit away as they make so much money on sales of replacement blades, due to using cheap and nasty bearings, which may be intentional.

I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from them until they change that shady practice.
