They would have got clawstrophobic on the long flight
They would have been shell-shocked from the long trip.
China stopped buying our lobster which crippled the industry, yet Canadian ones are still cheaper here somehow!?
The "China Bad" narrative is another fake news narrative.
Realise, China was paying the highest prices - and that was good. But our gov, at the behest of the US gov, can't stop antagonising them. So they are forced to retaliate.
Then look at the local fisherman for not wanting to sell to locals. Probably because they are used to fat Chinese margins. So would rather sell to no one. By the way, a lot of the our fisherman can be found on the Rich 200 list.

Not sure about that. I heard the news statement asking for an investigation into covid. It wasn't overly antagonistic. China's response? Ban coal, beef, wine, barley, lobster under the guise of "dumping". Kinda falls into the "China bad" bucket to me, despite how often they cry about weaponising trade.
A lot of our "rich list" fisherman are because they do sell high priced stuff to China, but also because they're large organisations. Like Kalis Brothers. Owned by China.

The US bioweapon Fauci outsourced to China?
@wisdomtooth: Lol
They'd rather not go out and catch as many as it would bastardise their prices and wouldn't be able to charge a fortune in the future.
Canadia seems like a long way for a lobster to travel? Is that necessary?
