Got this special via email from JW today. $129 for a 2TB wireless network hard drive not a bad price. normally for this price you'll get either the 1TB or 500GB. they have stores in bankstown, bella vista and villawood to pick up from.
if picking up from the store you must present a print out of the offer. limit is 1 per customer.

$110 is better than $129, but cheapest is $15 shipping…which make the diff only a few dollars.
This JW deal doesn't have free shipping, it's free… pick-up.
For that price you may get the 1tb or 500gb, but as a 2.5" drive.
I'm sure the rep of $319 on the site is a bit of an exaggeration.

Does anyone know whether this brand is good
I've setup a 1Tb version of this. It plugs into the router with ethernet. Has quite good (easy to setup) backup software for up to 3 or 5 computers (can't remember which). The one I did had a usb stick attached to it with the setup software that you run on each computer you want to backup.
However I did try another USB-only single computer version on a Win XP computer and it didn't want to work (could have been the computer though - not enough power through the USB port or something).
Shipping is a flat $9.95 normal, $15.01 insured.
