Hi all, just wanting to get ideas from people who have been as to where the freebies are, or the areas not to miss. In previous years there have been Ikea vouchers, shower caps, food demos.

have show bags changed at all…. last time I went 20odd yrs ago it was rubbish and expensive… back in the early 80s when they were still sample bags for $1 they were good value
Mate it’s like $80 for 2 adults to go, I’m guessing with kids it’s an easy $500 spending spree
The showbags are utter garbage these days. Over inflated value and they are charging far too much for the landfill in them. Some of the adult ones used to be reasonable value but I had a quick look on the website tonight and they're all crap this year. I only saw one which seemed to be good value as it contained a face cream sold at Chemist Warehouse for $63.95. One of the pricer bags $30-35 but can't remember the name now.
Yeah I don’t understand why they sell stuff you can buy at the supermarket… the toy show bags are also crap.
Went yesterday… Bought 2 showbags for my kid, costed me 45
But u can browse the bags here

the best showbags ever were the Dairy Farmers showbag. I remember they used to cost like 15 or 20 bucks but it came with flavoured milk you can drink, biscuits, crackers, cheese, dips, and came with an esky bag. Actually good value for money.
Me and mate found teh bakery bag good… from memory it was bread, rolls, and lots of those small butter, jam and honey satchels… that was lunch for us… lol
pair that with a salami showbag :D
the abbots bakery bread bag was similar. also contained a small chopping board and a heshian bag. how I know this is because i still use the bag and the chopping board today :D
LOL
there are no freebies. you are paying to get in.
Woolworths dome has samples but it’s every 30 minutes and you have to go to their cooking demonstration.
Woolies Fresh Food tour should still be a thing where you get samples of things they sell e.g. barramundi, sausages, mushrooms
Last year Arnott's were giving alway retail size boxes of biscuits and what they gave out varied throughout the day e.g. Shapes in the morning, TeeVee snacks in the afternoon
