So for 25 dollars I still cannot pick a set and has to be the one you pick then I will have to pay 10 to 20 dollars for shipping for each set I get and if I want to pick a set I have to pay 45 now but still cannot pick the sets that have more pieces, for those I still need to pay for 3 months to be able to access them and of course the shipping for each set that I order. Great business model but I think I will just buy a set when is on sale

Sorry can you try again with punctuation?

I am genuinely trying to follow what you wrote?

You are saying you can only pick the sets they prescribe for $25? Then you pay postage on top of that? But the sets you want cost more? The minimum requirements is 3 months?

      • The basic plan is $25, which you have no say in what set you get, they pick and send it to you.

Delivery fee is $11.99 - $19.99, which includes prepaid return shipping label.

For both the basic ($25) and mid ($45) plans, you can only have 1 set at a time. Even with the mid plan, you need to be a member for 3 months before they give you access to the $300+ sets. Even their hero sets ($300+) aren't really $300+ plus sets looking at their catalogue…. most of their hero sets are ~$250 RRP.

This reads more like an ad than a deal….

I have read a few times about this, still have no idea what it is???? Is it just an Ad?

Could never get excited about this business model. Went through it with my youngest. Their words. 'nuh, pass'

When a young child deems this is a waste of money, maybe Oz bargain will deem this to be an Ad

  • What if you lose pieces :). How can they tell when you return it.

    • Had a read. They check them for missing pieces and if its a couple of commons they're cool with it.

Brick Borrow Australia will NOT charge replacement fees for ‘normal piece loss’, respective to each set. ‘Normal piece loss’ is defined as up to 10 common pieces for a Mini or Standard set (under 1000 pieces), or up to 20 common pieces for a HERO Set (over 1000 pieces).

However, if there is a significant amount of LEGO® pieces missing from your returned set, or there are special LEGO® pieces missing (such as minifigures, animals, large or uncommon pieces etc.), you will be charged at the cost price for the replacement pieces. These special pieces typically have a minimum cost of $5-10 each, and are not always easy to replace. To purchase replacement LEGO® pieces, we use the website www.bricklink.com, and this will necessitate an additional administration fee of $10.

Any sets returned with more than 15% of pieces missing or damaged will incur a fee to replace the entire set, which will be equal to the full and total recommended retail price of the LEGO® set.

  • So you pay the subscription borrow a few sets and never return them is the bargain here? =P

"How long can I borrow the set/s?

The Brick Borrow crew are not fun sponges. If you’re having fun, you can build, play and display your LEGO® sets for as long as you like!

We encourage all members to keep sharing the joy of LEGO® within the Brick Borrow community, so as soon as you're done enjoying your set/s, send them back - we’ll check them and then email you to get borrowing again!"

  • Love when these borrow lego businesses start and fail a month later seen so many pop up in the last 10 years
