Was looking for a power board to take with me to Japan and this one looked pretty good especially for the price, Lowest on Camelx3 from what I can see as well.

3x AC ports - Universal fit

4xUSB-A ports

2x USB-C ports (Max 4.2a)

Sorry I cannot find any specification for the USB-A ports but I assume theyre 2.1A. Ill be able to confirm tomorrow when it arrives.

The plug is also AU only, one of the pictures seems a bit misleading(to me anyway) that it may come with different cables for different countries but youll still need an adapter.

Ill report back on overall quality and features when it arrives if anyone wants to hold off, dunno how long the deal goes for maybe someone else can sleuth that out.

  • Is this a genuine CREATMOR ?

    • +18

      It's a genuine CREMATOR

    • Genuine CREATMOR is the lower brand of CREATLES. I'll skip this one.

      • MOR is LESS?

        • Yess. Mor is less than Les.

  • +3

I read the title as CREMATOR and thought it was a listing for a HEYMIX powerboard.

  • +3

    I read Cremator.

    • +3

that's what happens after you plug it in

  • +6

Personally wouldn't trust any no-name/generic power boards.

    • +1

Can you recommend any decent ones?

  • +3

    2x USB-C ports (Max 4.2a)

Does PD even go this high?

There is just so much wrong with this listing. No specs, atrocious descriptions. Possibly incorrect info.

This just reeks of China offloading cheap underengineered junk on us.

    • +4

Look for DESCRIBMOR products for better descriptions.

Thats most of amazon to be fair. I plan on doing a tear down when it arrives, if its solid internally ill be happy as its got the best variety of ports I have seen so far.

      • From a company that has zero interest in their products, one batch may be well made, the next utter trash.

BOE tried to swap in cheap parts on Apple, on Apple! A non-company will gladly save 5c on components and risk burning your house to the ground.

        • Fingers crossed I got the well made batch then. Fair enough for being wary though, its not something I would regularly use in my home, but for a travel board it makes sense.

          • @doobey1231: Yikes. I'd be taking the best possible electronics on overseas to ensure things go smoothly.

Generally, that would be a multiport USB-C charger which takes a figure 8 cable and a single port charger as a backup.

There's a white one from the same brand, and it mentions specs under the asked question section.

The USB-C ports are just 5V, and 4.2A is the total for both (and I suspect the total output for all 6 USB ports).

So it's just standard 5V USB, just to a USB-C port instead of USB-A. No actual PD spec, which USB-C ports don't have to support.

      • Thank you for finding that, I wont put it in the full post just in case they do differ, but given the standard of these products I reckon the specs are gonna be the same.

    • PD goes up to 5A doesn't it?

    • Yes, 100W PD is 20V, 5A.

But I bet this is basic 5V 4.2A total across 2 ports or just ~10 W.

  • Wanted to Creatmor, ended up Cremator

  • Wondering how long is the cord?

    • +1

Description notes 2M, so my guess is two meters. Can also confirm this when it arrives tomorrow.

    • +1

Checking in - cable is 3m so you get a bonus meter

      • Thank you for confirming. Just what i was looking for

  • +3

I could be wrong but the picture shows the Australian plug with the 2 upper prongs does not have any shielding so it would not meet Australian standards? I would stay away.

    • Can confirm the shielding is there, might be photos from a prototype?

  • Not the best name for a product promoting electrical fire safety

Okay as promised it has arrived and this is my review

I’m quite impressed with the quality out of the gate, packaging is super reassuring, printing is a bit odd but English is surprisingly decent.

Prongs have sleeves and an earth, cable is 3m long. Specs for USB is 5v = 4.2a across all ports. T

Plugs are caught very securely with definitely no chance of wriggling free. Internal cabling is nice and thicc, although gauges are not listed on the cables themselves, the over current protection is legitimately there, although I don’t have the equipment to test it in action.

My only complaint is for portability the plug is quote long and there’s the usual China manufacturing smell from the box. Aside from that I’m fairly impressed, happy with the gamble taken.

A lesser reviewer would have missed the odour on a electronics review, thank you.
