 - That is not a deal. That is the actual price of the product. What is sold as normal price is highly inflated price with a huge amount of profit margin - yes there's a number of products like that , From Glen20 air fresher, to Oral b Toothpaste, Nobody buys them at full price - And they are still overpriced at 1/2 off. Glen20 for example is 60% ethanol made in Malaysia. Homebrand/Strike 60% ethanol made in Australia still cheaper normal price, but I guess the chemically identical ethanol isn't as good and we cant make stuff here cause it costs more? lol - @Kommodore: It's an artificial increase due to covid, and they didn't bother reducing the price, instead have these 1/2 price sales all the time. OralB have the fake $10 price that nobody pays, they go down to $5, people think it's a bargain, but reject shop have them for $2.50.. but not always, only when stock is available to them

 - what's the difference between louisiana vs nashville style? - Nashvilles are like wicked wings. Louisianas are like original pieces.
 - I'd say Nashville is more like Hot&Spicy than wicked wings personally, Louisiana is original recipe. - But obviously frozen supermarket versions. Prefer the Louisiana because the spice Nashville tries to imitate is kinda lame.
 - "Louisiana-style chicken and Nashville-style chicken are two different preparations of fried chicken that are associated with their respective regions. - Louisiana-style chicken is often referred to as "Southern fried chicken" and is typically seasoned with a blend of spices that includes paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. The chicken is usually marinated in buttermilk to make it tender and moist before being dredged in a seasoned flour mixture and deep-fried to a crispy golden brown. Louisiana-style chicken is often served with hot sauce, honey mustard, or a variety of other dipping sauces. - Nashville-style chicken, on the other hand, is known for its distinctive spicy flavor. It is typically prepared by coating chicken in a spicy paste made with cayenne pepper and other seasonings, and then frying it until crispy. The heat level of Nashville-style chicken can vary depending on the recipe, with some versions being quite mild and others being extremely spicy. Nashville-style chicken is often served on a slice of white bread with pickles and a dollop of mayonnaise. - In summary, while both Louisiana-style chicken and Nashville-style chicken are preparations of fried chicken, they differ in their seasoning and flavor profiles. Louisiana-style chicken is seasoned with a blend of spices and typically served with dipping sauces, while Nashville-style chicken is coated in a spicy paste and often served on white bread with pickles and mayonnaise." :v

 - Both of these are good but i wish they'd do the Louisiana burgers. Been ages since they’ve been half price. They're gouging us cos they know they're awesome - They are top shelf

 - Ain't nobody here but us chickens… - A few sobbing vegans stopped by then left (which is normal - they all go left). - vegans are left right out

 - Takes hours in the oven cook! - Air fryer, 30 mins max inc defrost time (on reheat) - 15 mins on reheat to defrost
15 mins on air fry- Not a fan of portions anymore, a bit hit and miss for me. Burgers though amazing - ta I'll give this a whirl on my last batch, usually somewhere between 30-40 mins for me usually but yeah you have to plan to eat these not just think "me hungy 45 mins too long" munches butter - Microwave 4 min, then sandwich press for another 5 min.
Gotta make the most out of the office kitchenette

 - But it has airfryer instructions on the packaging. 45mins I think, did you try that and thought they were overdone?
Seemed ok to me, some oil at the bottom, but expected I guess - I've cooked the burgers before, and partially defrosted, they've never taken me more than 15-20 minutes in the air fryer. 45 minutes and they'd be burnt.

 - Bro, up your game.

 - Tried the spicy one the other day based on OzB's love for it.. - My lord it was incredibly salty and the chicken were so bruised! Dark, blood tainted meat in 4 of my 6 pieces lol - Same experience for me, couldn’t eat it - the chickens are supposed to be battered to death - now i feel bad for ordering battered fish

 - Last time I bought 4 bags. Ate one, same experience. It was like eating salt. Took the other 3 back to woolies and shall not buy again. - It's a shame. Their potential is what made me learn to make my own coleslaw. Potential never realised. :(
 - When you say spicy ones, which flavour?
I haven't worked out which is the hot version because the city names given to them mean nothing to me - Nashville. Zoom in on the photos, it has a description

 - The coating is way too salty. - that salt tastes like chicken

 - 50/50 chance to get decent chicken or grey jelly junk in the bag.
 - Wasn’t the biggest fan of this
 - Are these any good? Never had them
 - No the chicken sucks. Don't buy them (so I can buy them all)
 - These are tasty, but I feel disgusting after I eat them. - KFC style? - Nah bongo said disgusting, not suicidal

 - Congrats to olive oil!
Now selling at $20/L full price like it’s nothing
 - The catalogue only mentions Nashville ( not Loiusiana ). - I got three bags last time. They were good but not super good. 7.5/10. Lots of oil. Two bags I got 4 large pieces. One bag I got 3 large pieces, 1 wing and 1 drumstick.
 - which one stinks less while cooking ?
I don't know its relevent or not but costco kirkland chicken smells very bad - halal chicken as it is more cleaner and odourless - BULLSHIT. - agreed. bs

 - Tegal is halal as per their website:
Are Tegel products halal? Yes all Tegel products are halal. Tegel is audited and approved by Halal Conformity Services Limited, an approved Halal Organisation - Not sure about that

 - how does it compare with Stegall's nibbles wings hot and spicy?
 - Bought these a while back (Louisiana style), the concensus was tatses nothing like KFC, and the woolies brand southern style chicken is much nicer, though I prefer the steggals flamin hot (but no one else can handle much if any of it).
 - Super hard to find stock when these are on half price.
 - The only reason I won't buy this chicken again is because of the mess it leaves in the oven. It splatters everywhere and is super hard to clean off. - Thanks for saying this - will pass and just go to KFC instead. - Gotta look at the overall picture haha

 - Whole house smells like fried chicken after an hr in the oven lol - milady has banished my air fryer to the balcony so my cooking smells don't disturb her delicate olfactory - I don't notice the same smells so guess my nose came from the old factory

 - When will Woolies admit that nobody is ever going to pay more than this price for them? - Same with the flip yoghurts .. on special every second week because the full price is just silly. - never say never…remember the thing called covid and lockdown?
 - I would guess price deals may often originate from the supplier - on products I regularly buy, I commonly see specials at the same price in Coles and Woolworths - so much for competition, right ?

 - new cult items? sold out from most stores…
 - Only seeing Nashville on sale :( - The olive oil is still available
 - Do a price check at the counter. It should come through.

Must have over killed the chickens that they can have regular deal like this
