The first deal I've posted, so go easy.
Have been thinking about getting the TCL C835 TV and noticed this deal on the C935. The cheapest I have found for this TV, seems to be well under RRP.
In stock at some stores now.

Let's ravage his nether regions!
Ravage as in have vigorous sexual intercourse?
Is that you, Mr Latham?
Damnit been waiting on C2 sale again and thought this was it for a split second
I gave them a call. No stock but they are taking back orders. I asked them to email me when some stock turns up.
Just a heads up, I own the X925 8K model from this family of TCL Google TVs, and the onboard processors are rubbish.
A recent firmware update did make a difference, so make sure to update straight away.
Out of box the experience was laggy and unbearably slow for a daily driver.
Interesting.. I've got the 75c825 with google TV and have found it to be perfectly snappy with almost everything
I think X model is older
I have a c825 and find it can get very laggy, even vol up/down can take up to 10 seconds to respond.
Have to constantly close apps, restart, turn auto updates off etc.
you probably need to update the firmware.
Mine is super smooth and responsive.. I'd compare the speed to a Chromecast Google Tv
I mainly use Netflix, Prime and Plex
if a firmware update did make a differemce, the onboard processors should not be "rubbish".
For this reason I splashed on an Nvidia Shield Pro. Means that if you upgrade your TV you can just bring all your settings with you, it's much faster, and no need to ever consider the TV processor power again.

I have the bottom of the range 6 series from 4 years ago in my spare room and it runs Google TV fine. Maybe yours is broken?
Me too, have a 75x925 8k model. Very happy with it until the display panel gave up. Used it virtually every day for 13 months and suddenly the only display I get is a blue screen with faint white lines. Lodged warranty claim and the technician attended my house confirmed the panel is faulty. The whole warranty reporting process is rather smooth (happy with that) and I am now waiting for an update from TCL. Been only 3 working days since the technician's visit. Fingers crossed that TCL will replace the whole display panel of a replacement TV.
Curious on peoples experience with oled vs mini led vs led?
Just don't compare it side by side 👍
500 nits. Surely not.
This looks good, 1080 zones. from the mini LED compared to the 100-200 ish on the C835
this or c835?
Your answer is above mate.
Yeah I didnt neg you btw. I just told you where the answer was. Jeez, touchy touchy :D
$200 delivery for my location. Hope JB or TGG sells it too so I am able to price match and pick up from near by store.
For those considering this…
I have TCL 65" C835 and it is excellent.
Android OS is great, very snappy and the remote is great with individual buttons to Netflix, Stan, Prime, Disney and Youtube.
I also use this for gaming on my Xbox Series X and it's brilliant. I play COD MW2 in 120hz and most other games at 60hz, I love that this TV has VRR especially for titles like Resident Evil 2 Remake even with Ray Tracing on I rarely ever notice dropped frames (except for the main room of police station uggh). But dayuuumm this TV makes everything look good.
I would imagine the C935 offers all of this and more. So yeah tis a very good deal in my opinion.
I have the 75" C835 and its def mid range. Watching SD TV is garbage. It's beautiful if you feed it HD or 4k but anything under it suffers.
Not sure if the 935 is better I'm stepping up SD content but don't expect wonders from mid range TV's in processing.
Has annoying quirks where it turns the PS5 on if you hit source, also cannot control the PS5 with controller like I could with both Hisense and Sony.
Not seen many reviews on the 935, if anyone has would love to hear some feedback.
I wouldnt expect SD content (720p) to look good at all on a 65" 4k display… I've never noticed, but I dont watch much at all generally most things i watch are at least 1080p and even that is rare for me.
I dont even have an aerial on my roof for free to air.
I'd say its the best mid range TV available. The next step above the C835 / C935 would be OLED.
I paid $1995 for my 65" C835 when it launched (cashbacks) and I'm still really pleased as it was the best specs I could find at the time for under 2k.
HDTV Test on Youtube gives both a pretty positive review. I think TCL is the best bang for your buck at the moment.
They are a great option for anyone who wants decent specs but cant justify OLED.
any feedbacks? worth the price?
Read the post above yours…
Shipping costs $210! Do they ship it from overseas?!
A while ago, Vincent from HD Test gave this TV a very good review for the colourdand brightness, though I can not remember anything else. A huge increase over the C835.
Differences between c835 and c935?
Dimming Zones mainly….288 vs 1000 something something
Showing as in stock now and the price has dropped to $1480 plus delivery ($126 for me in Qld).
The temptation was too much! lol
I own a TCLC835 65inch version and I think this is a very good buy.
Argh looks like its sold out
First time poster, long term observer of newbies being torn to shreds. Good stuff OP.
