On clearance, cheapest it's been(?) Can't go wrong for $39 with local warranty.
Especially good if you're a fan of the design.

See this comparison. These are a gimmick in just about every way.. more expensive, less air and generally a worse fan. Just ok at the clearance price.
See this
I bought a bunch of arlec DC Smart fans two years ago and they have been amazing.
For people with allergies, the Dyson is a godsend though. Traditional fans collect and spray dust everywhere
How strong is the wind though?

Nice
Niicceeee !
It says 21m3/min, but you'll probably get better comparison with someone who's owned a Dyson and this before.
Even the outrageously expensive Dysons of this design don't manage as much breeze as $20 conventional fans.
Yep see this https://youtu.be/dS0oFmzU06g
The smaller fan version is also on sale if you're a fan of small things.

Just throwing this out there, not a slight against the original post.
I've been comparing loads of fans over the past decade. Normal box fans, a slew of bladeless fans (all Dyson clones, never spent the money on a Dyson) and have found that the Vornado-style ones are by far the best.
They are far more effective at moving air, and for the amount of cooling they produce, they are also far quieter. The Dyson clones (as well as real Dysons) generate too much high-pitched noise from the tiny and fast blades in the base. Couple of months ago I went a bit overboard and bought six new fans, two were bladeless, and they were the first two that we got rid of. The rest are Vornado clones and they are amazing. Either very quiet for close up use, or noisier but incredibly powerful. Even the noisier levels sound better than any bladeless fan.
Handy to know, thank you.
What's the brand of the vornado clones?
I'm not sure what (if anything) is available here. I have Xiaomi and Whirlpool ones. The Xiaomi fans are pretty high tech, too much smart home integration, but they can go whisper quiet and slow. The Whirlpool is louder and moves a crazy amount of air, it's too much for close quarters.
Would the Xiaomi one be the smart tower fan model?
@ilikeblue: I think he may be referencing the Xiaomi Mijia DC Frequency Conversion Circulating Fan.
@dullbeard: Yes, that's the one. I never even knew it was called that as I relied to Google Translate to buy it and didn't pay attention to whatever the crazy model name is.
Xiaomi Mijia DC Frequency Conversion Circulating Fan
I just got a Kmart high speed fan, too much air power that thing got in it!
Thanks for the information 👍🏻
I am confused, so is this fan loud or not?
I can confirm on the bladeless. I have the Dyson hot and windy. I can't even say cool or cold because it's so shit.
Vornado got us through the few weeks of summer in our new place before the split systems were installed. Powerful little thing. Loud though and not many options.
Never tried the clones but can vouch for the real thing.
This could be a rare case of the clones being better- mine have 6 speeds instead of 3-4, so the Xiaomi ones on low speed are practically silent.
I can see you're not just blowing hot air!
No stock in Sydney
All of Sydney have no stock for the last 3 week be trying getting fan on kmart
Fan like this hard to clean the blade isn't?
I once tried put my hand through that hole and it gave me the chills
Crap quality
Your puns have blown me away!
Avoid. This is quite useless. Returned mine the very next day.
It blows
Looks much better value than Dyson
Dang, PS5 is so cheap
I'm a Fan Boi for this!
$39 for a fan? Nah, too expansive.
Try the compact model
https://www.kmart.com.au/product/58cm-benchtop-bladeless-fan…
Less expansive and less expensive
I'm blown away with this deal
I need this. Can't afford another surprise circumcision
I just got wind of this deal.
All the stupid comments, but can anyone confirm if it’s any good?
They are OK but I find them very noisy. Maybe ok in the lounge room or something but if you are after a quiet fan in the bedroom and you are a light sleeper then forget it.
Cool deal
