Unfortunately these are not Bluetooth, but Logitech Mid to high are great devices and last longer than most brands.

    • Sorry but

If it is not bluetooth, Its not even worth considering for me sorry,

Bluetooth allows easy convenient connection with so many devices. and not needing to carry the stupid usb dongle, which if you loose your entire keyboard is kinda worthless. and you have to remember to carry the usb everywhere.

right now seems to be leading towards like this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005321372377.html hopefully with USB C charging or ones mentioned above in post (with non foldable design)

  • Those tablet kind of keyboards you linked to are rubbish to type on, no travel depth and are aimed at being slightly better than typing on a screen. If you're going to be using it regularly to type at a real computer I'd avoid like the plague.

    • so which one would you rather buy instead that is BLUETOOTH + cheap and good

      • I don't think it exists, not at the $20 price point. I paid more for my lightweight keyboard than my home office one because it's so hard to get good, cheap travel keyboards.

What's your usage? You seem to be looking at tablet/travel keyboards but do you need to type a lot? Will it be moved around a lot? Do you have a laptop (because most laptop keyboards are better than what you're linking to), would a stand to help with a tablet be necessary? Need more idea on what it's for and how much you type on it. No point buying an MX Mini if you use it for a couple of emails, but if you're writing 10 hours a day on it I'd at least get a K380, it'll be worth it in the long run.

        • Mainly gonna be using at home, when I want to put my laptop at a distance, and type/use mouse at a distance away from keyboard.
May be also use with stuff like google Chromecast etc. too (where typing with any keyboard is going to be faster than using their remote)

Not really thinking of using it a travel purposes, so yeah I guess i should get the cheaper one with backlight instead (to use at night).

Wont necessarily be needing to use that same keyboard for like 10 hrs a day, may like 5-20 hours a week at max that way (where I want laptop a distance away from me).

Dont really need a stand either, because most likely gonna be using it on lap, or on table.

And yes not really looking at spending 30 USD+ on that keyboard

          • @USER DC: You're going to use this at home, but don't want to deal with a dongle? Bluetooth is too unreliable to be good, dongles are vastly more reliable. But I guess if the laptop has a keyboard anyway, this isn't critical. Losing a dongle… it's happened once, and I ordered another one from Amazon for USD10.

Every cheap as chips keyboard I've touched has been pretty terrible, the lowest I'd go would still be Logitech- I've got a K400 kicking around on the media PC and a K380 for spare kid's keyboard.

I've tried Rapoo for peripherals, I would grudgingly say that they are not terrible. Worth looking at for something cheap.

            • @rumblytangara: once you loose the USB dongle (its not that hard to loose it mate), the thing is basically trash. Cheap Bluetooth mouses from aliexpress have been very reliable with me.

              • @USER DC: See first paragraph.

FWIW I just keep certain dongles in the computer (or the monitor which acts as a USB hub) all the time. e.g. if it's keyboard or mouse, they stay in.

But anyway, look at Rapoo. They are cheap. They are still a 'brand' whereas much of Aliexpress is a lucky dip. That second link you posted up doesn't even have product photos on it- just low quality digital artwork.

        • Seems like there is a $28 ish keyboard meeting more needs now
          Thanks to Amazon

  • Cheap, Bluetooth(or multi-mode) and not so bad build quality - Try the Rapoo ones sold at computer stores and online.

Budget, Bluetooth keyboards most certainly would not come with backlit keys as BT(even LE) uses more power than the RF wireless ones and add backlighting on top, you might as well have the USB cable connected permanently as the batteries wont last long.

  • I got Philips SPT6323 wireless keyboard + wireless mouse + 2mp webcam for $36.99 from Costco last week. Gets the job done. Cheapest deal i think.

Baller's will go straight for the Logitech MX keys mini.

So maybe search backwards from there, like google "cheap alternative to MX keys mini" or "budget alternative to MX keys mini".
